Has any other boxer been as unlucky as Brook?

    Not talking about legitimacy of wins or quality of opponents or anything of that ilk.

    But suffering two broken orbital bones to two eyes, two fights in a row, has any other boxer been through something like that before?

    Don't get me wrong Golovkin and Spence landed the hooks that caused the injury, but still, two fights in a row, broken bones, can't think of anyone suffering like that before.

    I wouldn't necessarily say that suffering one broken orbital socket was ''lucky'' let alone two.

    He made his own "luck" when he decided to fight Golovkin, a monster two weight classes above him.

    Yuri Foreman busted his knee(long time injury) vs Cotto and then nearly a year later it happened again vs Wolak.
    If i am not mistaken.

    I beg to differ the injuries he's suffered to his orbital sockets in his last two fights have all but guaranteed him a huge payday stateside against Cripple Crusher Cotto.

    I meant he has nowhere to go as far as breaking an orbital bone in his next fight that he hasn't broken before.
