How many rounds would Spence last with Kamikaze Golovkin?

I believe that's a great fight that goes 12 with Spence winning. he can easily come in jacked at 160 and be great.

I do believe it's a wasted risk when he wants to clean up ww that has more "big mames" that are all far easier with big paydays.. he will NOT lose at ww, I'd bet my and my girls futures on it.

well, Spence vs ggg is a pickem for me, because ggg is also a greatly talented elite bad mutha ****ing ass

 

he'd stop a very fading kovalev in round 10 or 11. they BOTH know who's superior and ggg has the better snap, much better stamina.

there's reasons Abel favored ggg over kovalev and when it came to which he chose ggg. level or more above kovalev who isn't even an elite fighter.

you lost any mythical credibility you dreamed of as soon as you claimed porter. it's one thing pretending or wishing an unbeaten fighter could but mentioning a fighter so beneath his talents is disturbing..

Spence has faster hand speed and your all underestimating his body assault and the effects it can have on G. Plus he has the perfect kyptonite style for G. He comes forward. He doesn't fight on the back foot and trying to counter just like everyone else has done against G. He bangs. This fight would surprise a lot of people.

The fact that he's SP too is an advantage. G has a higher ring IQ but in exchanges Spence would have success especially since G doesn't have defense and he just shells up like Clottey not throwing back.

You guys have not seen anyone focus to G's body. This fight would go into the later rounds. G does have power but the step in class in opposition exposes him every fight. I have it 60/40 in G's favor only because of size and power advantages but I can easily see Spence giving him a huge run for his money especially if he goes to that soft belly of G's.

As a few have said, the body attack is and has been a lost art for a very long time. Spence has a underestimated hard jab as well.

Spence doesn't have faster hands than GGG and neither did Brook. All three have about the same handspeed

 

At the moment probably 6-7. Spence just took a few too many Brook RHs, you can't take that many Golovkin RHs if you are smaller than him. Let Spence perfect his craft, grow into 160 lb and then we have a top fight, pity GGG will be too old by then.

It's a bit unfair to Spence though, why does he need to beat GGG? I'd pick him against almost any 147-154, he doesn't need to go to MW yet.

As for how long GGG would last with Kovalev? He has a very good chin, probably as good as Ward or Chilemba, so probably the distance, but IMHO he'll take a bit of a beating.

 

I don't like these hypothetical matches of Gennady facing WW's. It's essentially hypothesizing how Golovkin would do against Ward or Kovalev at 175 lbs. Really no difference at all.

It's impossible to know how Errol would do since he hasn't campaigned north of 147 yet. I assume he could be successful at JMW, but that's still at least a year or two away. 160 shouldn't even be a thought in his mind at this stage in his career.

 

I would love to see G finally move up for once. 35 year old with only a couple of true B level opponents on his resume. It's kinda pathetic that some of you are already holding Spence to a higher level than what you hold G to.
