Thurman gets bodied. Spence - Body work too accurate and he's too big for small Thurman. Thurman will run like a mofo and get cornered and go down by big body shots by round 7.
not an easy fight to pick winner. but im pickin spence. it can go either way no doubt. wnt be surprised either way. ill say the same thing like i did vs brook vs spence i dont care who really wins i just wanna see a great fight. an this is a cant miss fight for a boxing junkie . great vibes before the fight. some thing i wish we had every weekend. this weekend is believe is adonis vs fonfara i wont be very geeked for that fight . but believe it or not the fight mite be very good. but not the fight i wanna see adonis in . even tho there isnt much out there right now for him but thats kinda his fault.
I like Spence in that one. Thurman's power against elites is not impressive and his wide punches leave him open defensively. His shameless running from Danny also leaves question marks about his chin and body. Spence moves well around the ring so I don't think Keith's footwork will be too much for him, though Spence could certainly improve in that area. If Spence was better at countering off the backfoot he'd be incredible.
I think Thurman is more versatile and the smarter fighter. Just because he didn't ko Swift doesn't mean he can't punch, to Garcia's credit, the dude has a chin, and Thurman had him in serious trouble. Brook has world level skills, but never was a puncher to truly test Spence. Thurman has both the speed and power to unseat Spence. This fight might end up looking like Forrest-Mosley, but only with Mosley winning.
