    Lets stop being PC about this bs, Brook did quit!!!! It isn't even debatable it happened, lets accept it and move along.

    Brook didn't want to get hurt no more and knew he had no chance of winning and didn't want to risk permanent damage.

    Definition of Quitter= Someone who quits= Kell Brook twice

    Brook is no coward though, Brook is actually a tough SOB and gave it a go, he took hellacious punishment before he could give no more. A coward wouldn't do that, that's for sure.

    Calling Kell a Quitter might sound harsh or you may believe it even carries negative connotations but its part of boxing history now and Brook can't escape it, he didn't want to fight no more!!!


    I don't like talking badly about Brooks efforts but his fan boys make it difficult at times.
    The excuses and the dissing of true warriors who don't know the meaning of quit is pathetic actually and makes me want to disrespect Brook!!!

    If someone punched you in the ****ing eye until your orbital bone cracked, and then pounded on the same eye for 12 more minutes, I'm pretty sure you'd be on your knees begging them to stop, but you wouldn't last that long would you? You'd quit the moment it cracked. You're a pathetic piece of crap for doing this thread, and should be ashamed of yourself.

    I joke around about Cotto being a quitter, but most of that is tongue in cheek, I don't hold it against him at all, he has nothing to be ashamed of, would having a brain bleed and not being there to raise his children been preferable? No, of course not, this is a job to most of them, not worth risking your long term health or life for..

    I agree with your comments. Kell Brook gave his all gave a good account of himself and Spence beat the fight out of him and made him quit. Spence defeated a champion at the peak of his career and should be congratulated on a job well done.

    Most here are in bloody lala land!!!

    Just because Kell wanted to save taking extra punishment and had an injury doesn't change the fact?
    Kell is still a super tough bloke, he just doesn't have that legendary grit possessed by a chosen few!!!

    TBH the point of the thread had absolutely no intention to disrespect Brook.

    It was to correct the propaganda spread by his loyal groupies, maybe it was aimed at them to be fair.

    Boxers like Brook have to have great will power, character and dedication to even get where they are, if they "quit" it has to be for some very valid reason. You can't possibly understand how he was feeling at that moment.

    Except you bash Brook because he wanted to avoid suffering permanent injury. Criticizing a boxer for having a glass jaw is vastly different.

    Well, if you want to play semantic, you are not incorrect.
    It just that the "quitter" label has a bad conotation to it and I think Brook deserves better respect than that.
    If Brook is one than surely you would think Tszyu, Cotto, Morales or Arguello are the same as well. And that could not be further from the truth.

    Brook is a warrior who gave all what he got.why you have to make stupid threads and downplay Brook. Yes,he did "quit" but please give some respect to the man.

    And please don't defend yourself.everybody with brains see what you did here in this thread.

    Hope somebody breaks your eye socket and starts pounding it.then i will be there making mockery out of you when you are crying and begging mercy.

    it's takes big cojones to enter the boxing ring.especially against world class opponents.99% of humans would be crying mercy at 1round against Spence.

    I don't laugh when boxers get knocked out cold, but there is nothing wrong with saying a boxer has a glass jaw when he indeed has one. Obviously the term glass jaw is being thrown around here too much, 99% of boxers don't have that. But then again, bashing Brook because he did the right thing is different and much more disgusting. He didn't want to go blind period. Life is bigger than boxing.
