I'm not a Pacquiao or Mayweather fan before any of you start on me. Anyway, I sort of blame Mayweather for this rubbish, so Mayweather could avoid the Pacquiao that blitzed Hatton and was extremely dangerous he started to imply Pacquaio was dirty and it cost him an out of court settlement but he had his excuse not to fight Pacquiao until he started to slide and was KTFO by Marquez.. The Marquez who is accused of doing by Pacquiao fans exactly what Mayweather accused Pacquiao of doing. Anyway, those implications/accusations were discussed forever on forums like this one and still are, now every winning performance in a big fight there is always a thread somewhere suggesting the winner is dirty. Fighters can't have an exceptional night anymore or an exceptional run of performances without a shadow being cast over them, it's really sad, what happen to innocent until proven guilty? I don't blame Mayweather entirely, obviously fighters testing positive is the major issue, cheats are to blame but Mayweather made it almost acceptable to question and cast shadows on exceptional performances... except his own obviously.
Good post. But you must realize that the Roidquez situation was crazy as hell. It wasn't like Roidquez came in and just did his thing. No, it was the explosive growth and change in his body. There wasn't a single media outlet that didn't comment on his physical change. It might just be the most obvious doping case in the history of professional sports. Roidquez singlehandledly introduced elite level doping into the world of boxing.
This. That wasn't an HGH gut. Also, HGH gut isn't caused by HGH alone, but also diet. Most bodybuilders have awful diets that include a ridiculous amount of meat and rice with no vegetables or fruit. So often times food gets stuck in their digestive track, which can cause distension of the stomach. Arnold and most old school bodybuilders did cardio and ate fruits and veggies so they didn't have this problem.
People keep talking about fighters being on PED's I say without proof all it does is damage the sport... Nowadays if a fighter is dominant or looks unstopabble immediately there is speculation... We need proof before we speak....
Maybe. Maybe not. But aside from trying to negotiate a window that is close to the fight (where doping wouldn't really yield much positive benefits), which to me was Pac simply putting his foot down after conceding everything to Floyd (top billing, ring entry, scales), Pac hasnt done anything else that's considered shady or a red flag.
I wouldn't describe GGG's power as unnatural at all. I wouldn't say he is a top 3 p4p puncher in the sport.
Lol he was getting pushed around by Morales at 130 and people were saying it was Mrales' strength at that weight but Pac ended up busting up and beating the crap out of the best 147 pounders. That isnt normal either
Don't know about roids or even banned substances but without any evidence at all nor experience inside boxing, I automatically assume every top level boxer/athlete is taking PEDs of some variety simply because of the supposed advantages to be had or disadvantage if you don't take anything. The money at stake and the glory these guys have been working for their entire adult lives is too great that it almost feels like they would be cheating themselves if they abstained while others take every edge available. Some will say that is my weak mind assuming just because I would take shortcuts doesn't mean a pro athlete would or that this thinking is cynical but I view it as simple common sense. In short, yes I believe GGG takes drugs.
