The kid is pretty good. I think he would beat Billy Joe Saunders in a rematch. Does he have the tools to be great and where do you rank him?

I don't know where to rate him to be honest. I think when he fights world class though his fundamentals will let him down ! Fit as fook can only take you so far

I think he fought a super slick fighter in BJS and still didn't do too bad. As I said in a rematch he would win I believe. CEJ needs to beat a B level fighter in impressive fashion or UD an A level fighter, and his name will skyrocket into stardom. He's got the tools. Speed, extremely fit, not a KO artist but has plenty of power to respect, Has a hall of famer in his corner to teach him every fundamental about this sport (his dad) and also he may even have his dads chin which every knows is elite.

I want to hear what everyone else thinks. Nobody likes when a boxer runs his mouth like Eubank jr has done in the past, but put that aside. Can this kid be really good and hit the top ranks? I'd like to hear his strengths and weaknesses in your guys opinion. Thanks in advance!

Won't beat any top fighter with no footwork and no jab.

Lower reaches of the top ten? Maybe squeak into the top five if he actually gets in with and beats somebody decent. It's not really the most stacked division. There's a lot about him to like from a neutral spectator's POV; he throws tekken combos, has a phenomenal engine and has inherited his old man's chin as well but on the downside his footwork is clumsy when setting up attacks and his defense is shoddy too. He gets hit flush all too easily even against C level opponents and despite his decent hand speed he doesn't have enough authority or variety in his jab to keep any of the top guys on their toes. Golovkin, Canelo and Jacobs all beat him comfortably, but I'd give him a decent chance against BJS, Lemieux or Lee.

Although he came very close against BJS and disposed of Chudinov i am still not fully convinced by him. He pushes a really intense pace and has a good snap in most his array of punches and seems really fit. They are his good points. I think negativly thinking his skills in general are just plain average. He looks all flashy when he is at or out of range and against national level opposition but when in range and working its all just basic stuff, real basic just a high output and quality opposition will nulify everything in Eubanks game. Aslong as these guys come in shape they take Eubank apart.

Happy to be proved wrong but his only step up to the true top level against arguably the weakest champ at 160 and i put the real close result down to Saunders real poor conditioning.

Thats a great answer. I agree. One thing I will say, the talent he has is something you can't teach. You can't teach speed, a good chin and pretty good power like he has. The other things like footwork, and defense can easily be patched if he works on them. I think he will look sharper and sharper. If he even develops a serviceable jab put in place with his already gifted talents, I think he can win against potentially any middleweight not named GGG. Offensively he's the complete package almost besides the jab, defensively he has the foot speed and reflexes but needs to polish it. His chin is clutch though. He could definitely take a punch. Can be top 5 middleweight within his next 2 fights in my opinion.

Why didn't he take the rematch twice then both career high paydays? One of the reasons was Adam booth training him at the time said he would never beat bjs.

His work rate an array of punches are good but his ring iq lacks a bit the mo, i don't think he controls things that well in the ring...

He's an all out or nothing kinda fighter. I feel He needs to control pace a little more effectively to reach that top level. He could be great if he worked on pacing a fight and controlling things a little more effectively, instead of trying to be so flashy all the time.....

Hard to say because he doesn't test himself.

I can't stand him, but I think his strengths are the speed and fitness without a doubt. Whether you're fighting #1 or #100 ranked boxer, speed and fitness will show.

I don't think he has crazy power. Assuming he goes to 160, we have Lemieux and GGG who hit a lot harder than him. It's the combination of punches with decent power and fast speed that hurts and gets ref to jump in imo.

If he tested himself and stopped messing around acting like he's too good for boxing, id be interested. I just dont want to follow a guy who will call everyone our and fight a domestic fighter when he's clearly above that level.

Jacobs, Lemieux, GGG, BJS, the french boxer who went to Olympics.. why has he not got these fights?

He ranks nowhere. He hasn't beaten anyone, he's a domestic level fighter at the moment.
