If correct and i have no idea, with 4plus million in the bank, and going through two tough fights to get it then i wish somebody would mismanage me...

This is the fight game, and you take risks, some you get right others you don't, but you will earn a lot of money.

At the end of the day the fighters take them risks as it is them wanting the best deal for themselves.

And who can blame them, personally i would like to see Kell pack it in now, he has made lots of money, a good fighter who is becoming more and more at risk of becoming a diva in the sport, his hunger went after GGG fight.

 

really such a shame watching brooks career go this way, people blame warren but under matchroom he stagnated even further at a more crucial time. this was a very promising fighter in a good division (esp in the uk in recent memory). eventually after years of mismanagement hes put into a situation where everything is stacked against him, moves up 2 divs, against a murderous puncher. why? why was this gamble taken? because hearn was too busy buying HW belts for aj to bother with brooks career. so they got desperate and thought it would be a quick fix, no lose situation.

and here we are two fights later, and one of the uks most talented fighters in years is pretty much done, hearn has finished his career in the space of two fights. and despite not having had a terrible career, it is a fraction of what he could have done if moved along conscientiously by someone who cared.

yeah, but he made money... he should/would have done anyway. this whole shambles really annoys me and is indicative of many of the careers matchroom 'manage'. they really use the s*y sports propaganda machine to justify the decsions and sell fights that are actually not as impressive or desirable as they suggest. who else was peddling the brook did well against ggg line? who else is telling us that aj vs martin was a massive title fight and that froch groves was anything but a money making exersize (certainly dont begrudge froch his send off, but groves was elevated to god status in the lead up to that one).

hearns first priority is his s*y contract, second is himself, third is matchroom and finally the fighter.

Anything is possible but unless he gets past the physiological barrier is he finished. Every-time he gets hit he will be conscious. I suppose he could risk one big payday but he no longer has a strap, aside Khan who can he fight for big money? By time he decides to return (or if not) both 147 & 154 divisions would have moved on. Both stacked.

 

He always has done that eye touch thing, i think its just a habit he has whilst fighting

 

His career isn't over at all but yeah the ggg fight probably,y shouldnt have happened.

 

Brook needed more time to recover from Golovkin, should have tried 154 first.......................Brook has a lot of courage, you have to give him that. Eubank chickened out of the fight with Golovkin, but Brook went up two divisions and tried................
