Take the rest of the year off and he will be fine. I still think Brook along with Spence are the class of the division.

Brook needs to leave it to Spence to clean up 147 and dip his toe at 154. WW is in safe hands, and that's The Truth....

Yes but he has to be careful, someone on British forum suggested he should fight Michel Soro as a tune up LOL
    Bad advice.

No he is 31 years old. nobody physically gets better after 30. He is going to have a tough tough time making 147.

Won't fight at the end of this year. Amir Khan is his fate next summer based on Khan having a rubbish tune up fight at the end of the year

or Khan might manage to talk his way into a decently good fight at the end of the year and snub Brook off again...

He has just joined the list of fighters who will probably retire from the division very soon:

    Khan
    Pac
    Brook
    Bradley

    Nice little list.

Thurman & Spence left over with Arum angling Crawford to take the reign off Pac.

This guy is not going to beat Soro, I gave him one round in that fight. I think the judges were just tired of the Ukranians winning.

As I've said multiple times, heart, stamina and chin get you %80 of the way to a title shot and %90 if you are a heavyweight, he's got those, but he's still a 5'7 Jr. middleweight with little power and 13 fights against nobodies. He reminds me of Culcay (who beat him as an amateur) He'll be windmilling at air for 12 rounds agsinst Soro.

Brook will probably bounce back for one more fight against Khan.....................that is the only fight for either boxer............then they will both retire...........

No.. He won't.. In his prime he was fighting bum after bum and took his own sweet time to fight for the title.. He was over protected and NOW is too late.. He is basically not an elite fighter and just was carefully protected..

He was an "being exposed" waiting to happen and then it happened, when things got real..

He is just special for the die hard brit fans.. Leave the emotions aside, you will see the truth..

He is just a Carson Jones X 2 times fighter.. Don't even quote me if you are an emotional die hard brit fanboy.. You have nothing rational to talk about..

I hate to be negative about the fella, cause he's one of the most likable guys in the sport, but no, after these injuries, these losses, and even bigger tests waiting for him at 154, I would rather see him call it a day.

Whatever angle you're coming at me from, give it a rest, I'm sure if Castano was facing a Ukrainian JMW instead of Soro, you'd think Castano won convincingly and pick Brian to win in his upcoming match. The spin doctoring on this site is maddening.

Castano and Derevyanchenko had a war, it was close, but I've always thought Castano edged it legitimately, a draw could be argued, regardless, Derevyanchenko is a beast, and would beat Soro as well, and for the record, I'm not saying any of this because I don't like Soro, because I do, I'm very high on him. But face the facts, he's been on a murderer's row of gatekeepers lately, while good wins, none of them have, shall we say, truly tested Soro, the one time he was tested against Douglas, he only managed to get a draw. Castano and Derevyanchenko are every bit as good as Douglas, and all indications point towards them being even better. Soro struggles with both, will put up a gallant effort, but loses.
