was hearn really that harsh? Allen operated at a snails pace with a overweight sparring partner walking punchbag mentality.

i could not believe he was 18 stone!! he said he had trained hard for weeks too!! i did see a vid of him saying he got depressed and went to 22 stone though so maybe this was him 'in shape'...compared to what he was like

Think am the only one who is glad this Allen hype is dying down. Not hearns biggest fan but apart from throwing in him with Ortiz and whyte he had given a great platform to perform and prob would have fought for the British next, sick of sob stories TBH.

It's a strange one, he doesn't even look that big of a fighter tbh but the scales say otherwise. He carries a lot of weight in his legs because his top half is not really big at all.

Pretty much this, Allen should be grateful Hearn gave him any kind of platform. If Hearn gives him another chance he needs to be more serious as it is already last chance saloon.

100%. All well and good being the peoples man but he hasn't exactly a got a fan friendly style. Boring Slow Sparring mentality punchbag is what I see.
