You do make some great calls. You called the Gonzalez upset which when I read the post got me nervous.

 

G's chin isn't made of granite. He hasn't really fought big punchers nor bigger guys for that matter. The best guy he faced fought in a SP position which he's never done before and his real power was nullified.

He shells up when he gets hit or during flurries. He himself doesn't throw punches in bunches. Back to his chin though, he intimidates fighters with his power and acting like shots don't phase him. It does have an effect on them mentally and they scare up. Brooks shots definitely effected him. So did WMJ and he has 6 KO's.

When you fight Friday Night Fighter competition, it's easy to look like a world beater but even Murray went 11 with him.

There's also styles you have to consider. Canelo is not slick but he will bang and he does counter. This is a different stage for G who has been essentially cherry picking his whole professional career. We shall see how it plays out. I personally can't wait for this to arrive so it can be done.

Canelo is not knocking out Golovkin! He's bringing a knife to a gun fight and He'd be lucky to see rnd 12 or unlucky as I think he's gonna take a beating.

Canelo wont see round 10. He is getting stopped there is no doubt about it. Oscar doesnt think his little Mexican star is now atlast ready to take on and beat GGG Oscar thinks it is time to get paid.

I think Canelo may just have a great chin and that he may surprise us early with a lot of activity. I also fully expect Golovkin to break him down and stop him, though.

 

Back in Khazakstan when Golovkin had to earn pocket money for food, they used to tie his feet to a chain and swing him into buildings to knock them down.

Don't kid yourself. He's fought several big punchers in Stevens, Lemieux, Jacobs, Rubio and even the lesser guns like Macklin, Brook and Proksa could crack a bit. Nobody's dented that steel yet. If GGG does't have a granite chin then nobody has.
