    Possibly to cash out (being nice to Adonis here), but he's most probably saying this to garner interest in this purposeless fight with Fonfara.

    Adonis is all talk, no action. Just like Wilder.

    He will never fight Ward or Kovalev, the guy is irrelevant. The definition of a paper champion.

    naah I think he will just to cash out and retire. There is no way a paper champion like him to retire without a good payday!

    whats up with fighters wanting the big fight when they past there prime? fight these guys when ur prime. if you lose so be it. u can continue ur career n fight karpencys and williams.

    It's a shame Stevenson has wasted almost three years, which is a lot for a guy that'll be 40 later this year. I don't blame him for the Kovalev fight not happening, since Kovalev's team walked away from a purse bid, but the competition Stevenson has been fighting recently is awful. A Fonfara rematch is a waste of time. Gvozdyk, Smith Jr., or Barrera would be better matches and can gauge what Stevenson has left, but would also build some interest in Stevenson fighting Ward or Kovalev.

    I'm also putting my wifes and kid on Fonfara. He looked sharp in his last fight, Adoninson has only gotten worse since 2014 and must be over 60 years old by now.
