Both men at their peak (Dempsey from the Willard fight and Evander from the Foreman fight) Who takes this, how does it play out and why?
Manassa mauler by KO ,Holyfield never faced an attack that savage it would be a helluva rumble while it lasted
I don't see anything in Dempsey's resume that tells me he could deal with the type of athlete/boxer combination that Holy was in his prime. Holy dealt with all styles, powerpunchers and slicksters, and it wasn't until he was older than any besides Bowe really caught up to him. Dempsey certainly could hurt him but under modern rules Holy is going to be able to recover and he equally could hurt Dempsey, more likely so in my opinion.
I disagree with your verdict but you make a good case. Holyfield is no bargain for any heavyweight! He's in my top ten. We would see a real tear up here!
Holy would probably be too big Willard didn`t have Holy`s counter punching ability. If they fought a catchweight or maybe cruiser then you would get an awesome fight.
Holyfield by stoppage. He was too quick and he put his combos together like a lighter weight fighter. Holyfield had the coordination of a much smaller man.. Evander would box him but also bang with him when he had to.
