I know Wilder gets a lot of stick for his choice of opposition and people are crying out for him to take on some top names. He nearly fought povetkin, but due to no fault of his own that fell through. So till the WBC get strict on Wilders handlers and tell him to fight a mandatory he might just continue feasting on cans till he can get to the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow (AJ ca$h out)...I'm sure this might just be the plan Haymon hs for him. so critics/haters name 10 (or more ) fighters you really feel would beat Wilder...?
Not saying they all would, but they all possibly could. 1. Wladimir Klitschko 2. Anthony Joshua 3. Alexander Povetkin 4. Luis Ortiz 5. Tyson Fury 6. Murat Gassiev 7. Oleksandr Usyk 8. Mairis Briedis 9. Yunier Dorticos 10. Joseph Parker Marco Huck has a terrible style for him, and a healthy Haye with two legs could KO him.
1.Joshua 2.Klitschko 3.Povetkin 4.Parker 5.Fury 6.Ortiz 7.Haye 8.Usyk +maybe 9.Pulev +maybe 10.Helenius +maybe He's a top ten heavyweight right now, but I still think he gets slept by the big boys. Good athleticism, terrible technique.
Wilder is one of those fighters who is prone to getting upset, but has a decent chance against just about anyone. He is prone to getting upset by anyone decent because he has two serious flaws. His boxing technique is poor, and his chin is not good either. He basically relies on finding his opponent with a bomb somewhere along the way. Hence he is susceptible in two ways: first, if one opponent manages to outbox him (not that hard to do, Washington and Szpilka provided the template) and avoid anything big for twelve rounds; second, by a lucky shot which knocks him out - with a weak chin he is more susceptible than some others. However, he also has a decent chance against anyone else, even more skilled opponents, because of his huge power coupled with good athleticism and height + reach. So far, he's almost always managed to land the bomb sooner or later, and it has knocked out his opposition quite effectively. So I can easily find 10 fighters who could beat him. Finding ten current fighters I'd favour against him right now is quite tricky, I don't think there are that many.
This is dumb asf! If you had so much confidence youd of said 5. I dont think i can even name 10 hws off the top of my head. This question is as irrelevant as DW career is right now.
From Boxrec's top 40 I would bet on: Anthony Joshua. Wladimir Klitschko. Tyson Fury. Hughie Fury. Joseph Parker. Luiz Ortis. Kubrat Pulev. David Haye. Sergey Kuzmin. Jarrell Miller. Then it's many 50/50 fights I wouldn't bet on.
Wladimir, Fury, Povetkin, Usyk when he moves up, Vitali out of retirement with a two week camp, Teslenko, Hrgovic and Stipe Miocic if he decides to go the McGregor route.
1. Anthony Joshua 2. Wladimir Klitschko 3. Tyson Fury 4. Joseph Parker 5. Luis Ortiz 6. Kevin Johnson 7. Alexander Povetkin 8. Oleksandr Usyk 9. Kubrat Pulev 10. Vitali Klitschko (3 week training camp)
I assume you meant FAVORED to beat him. COULD beat him involves a lot of folks, and he COULD beat them too. The only guys I would FAVOR over him is Wlad, Joshua, and maybe Ortiz. He beats Parker >50% of the time.
I actually feel like Wladimir has only 44 % chance. It's like German national football team playing against African teams, they don't know what to do with them and get screwed in the arse.
Joshua Fury Klitschko Ortiz Povetkin Parker Pulev Whyte Haye Bellew Usyk Hammer Chisora Wach Miller Helenius Takam Dubois ......Dave Allen?
Charlie Z Dustin Nichols Harrold Sconiers And every top 10 HW. But he hasn't fought a legit top 10 HW and probably won't for some time to come so he'll remain undefeated plucking fresh cherries and tomatoes for his foreseeable career.
Klitschko Joshua Haye Povetkin Ortiz Parker fury Bellew Helenius Chisora These ten would certainly -all- beat Wilder
