The loss to Tony Bellew looks **** on both their CVs, so the mutual decision was a no brainer I'm sure.

Hardly. Nobody with an ounce of boxing knowledge would take that as a true win, since everybody could see it only happened because of the injury.

He should go with ingle. Always thought after booth that would be the best match for haye. People dont like fighting that ingle style...the footwork makes people fall short a lot. Last thing your wanting with a hayemaker waiting for you. Always felt thats the thing they didnt get right with mcguigan...the footwork was a mess.

Although at this stage no sure the ingles would be interested.

    Haye lost.

"it only happened because of the injury" is a funny one. Firstly, Haye confirms it happened it the 6th round. Bellew wasn't even supposed to be there in the 6th round, and if there was any gulf between Bellew and Haye in the first 5 rounds it was nowhere near what Haye and his supporters told us pre-fight. That there is a factor, surely.

Second point, as many people have been saying for years (myself included .... and Haye himself included ! ) Haye is injury-prone now and his body is totally unreliable. Therefore the injury was not some anamoly or complete unforseen or unforseeable factor, it was a distinct possibility, more so than usual. And that will always be the case when Haye fights.

Sorry, injuries count. A loss is a loss. Being in such physical condition where getting injured half-way through a fight is almost quite likely IS an actual discredit to a fighter's value and also a discredit to the fighter's trainer.
You can't just write off losses because someone got injured. It's all part of the game.

Haye lost. Bellew won. Accept it and move on.

The irony of you calling me a troll.

Bellew predicted exactly what was going to happen in that fight, he said he was going to take Haye into deep waters and his body would break down in the later rounds.

    Exactly what happened.

Had your guy won, you would have been crying about how Haye wasn't getting respect for beating a top CW.

Haye wasn't good enough, he said he was going to blast Bellew out and didn't even come close.

Just the facts, deal with it troll.

I know your a Haye fan, but I think the reasons for both Booth and Shane leaving are very similar.
