I laugh everytime people say Hopkins was robbed against Taylor. I have never heard of a fighter landing 8 punches a round being robbed. Hopkins was the one cutting off the exchanges by holding. Hopkins fans if you can tell me another fight where a guy landing 8 punches a round
was robbed maybe I will believe you. Until then take off those Hopkins blinders. Hopkins improved greatly in the second fight he landed 11 puncher per round while again holding and cutting off the exchanges

Can anyone answer my question? Tell me another fighter who was robbed landing 8 punches a round.

Hopkins wasen't robbed per say but I do think he won the 2nd fight and possibly the first.

IDK. Taylor didn't exactly TAKE the title either and Hopkins started late.

But I have never given Taylor full credit for beating Hopkins and he has continued to show he isn't near as good as those fights.

Hopkins shines on at 42 while Taylor's ****** ass struggles to look good against feather fisted guys like Cry Spinks... Dibella's connections at HBO have made this overrated chump who he is... He did nothing to take Hopkins' Title

I had it a draw in the first one, but leaning towards Hops. In the 2nd one, I had it for Taylor.

    I had Taylor-Wright a draw.

Taylor will look better to people when he blows away Pavlik...his fights with Hopkins and Wright were close and disputable, but they are great fighters so Taylor has to get credit for that...but if Taylor had fought a pre-Tito version of Hopkins he might've got stopped...

I think Taylor catches too much **** for those fights. People are pessimistic and dont look at anything in a good light. How about thinking that Taylor was competitive with two of the best fighters in recent years?

All fights were close. I can see a win for Taylor in the Hopkins fights and vice versa. I scored the wright fight a draw.

Yet you also stated in a post recently that Pacman is already an ATG, but Bernard still has work to do....

So........yeah........your view may slightly be warped.

BTW, that album is amazing. Too bad your boxing taste isnt as good as your taste in music............jk jk jk.....kinda.

    :yep

Bingo. Nice to see that someone realizes how OUTRAGEOUS these decisions were. IF it wasn't for Taylor's HBO backing, and Hopkins unpopularity with the boxing establishment, Bernard would have won the first fight and there never would have been a rematch - which he also WON. :nod

After Pavlik blows Taylor away people will realize what a hype job he was. Some of us have been calling it since the moment he got his first gift against Hopkins. :yep

Oh, and Taylor has some shaky whiskers, too. Why do y'all think he's been fighting light-hitters moving up from the lower weights since Hopkins rocked him, huh??:huh

Spinks stung him a couple of times in their bout.
