Why do so many people think Thurman would beat Brook?

lmao @ boxing circles. thurman is so ****. keith thurman was running from porter, garcia, and guerrero. he went the distance with bundu who spence destroyed.

thurman so overrated its hiarlous. dont worry after spence KO's him you will see.

Lol I scored Brook-Porter 10-2, and Thurman -Porter a draw.

I somewhat agree. Thurman tends to get very sloppy when fatigued. He's not a 12 round finesse fighter.

The "running" is him controlling the fight from the outside because inside fighting isn't his style.
If someone like porter gets inside Thurman gets outworked. Same with Spence.

When Thurman fights Spence don't be surprised when Thurman takes control of the outside using movement (or running as some of you call it) and wins rounds that way. But when Spence cuts the distance and gets inside Thurman gets outworked

I don't think Thurman would necessarily beat Brook. It would be a close fight with a slight lean to Brook.

Spence and Brook weren't the 2 best WWs.

I've always had Thurman over Brook but now it's irrelevant as Brook needs to take a year off at minimum. He's practically done.

That is funny. I had Porter-Brook 10-2, and tried to score it as generously for Brook as possible, but could only find 2 rounds to give him.

I'm a Brook fan, but I think Thurman would get the win. We prob won't see Brook fight at WW again now anyway. More importantly, I think Thurman would beat Spence.

This. Thurman also has a lot of power early in the fight. Spence takes a while to warmup while Thurman hits his hardest early in the fight and he's fast. Danny, who is known for having a chin and has never been knocked down got rocked hard early in the fight by Thurman, but his durability saved him. I think Thurman with his hand speed would catch Brook with something early and stop him.

Thurman would have to be favored vs Kell as his hand and footspeed is superior,
he also has the edge in power.
Brook is good with straight shots and uppercuts, but Thurman
    is faster on the counter.
Thurman has also proven more durable than Kell. Kell has
attributes that can trouble Keith but if I had to the trigger,
    I say Keith.
Keith can box and brawl and get out of trouble or bang
when need be. he's really the most dynamic guy at WW
(of course excluding Manny who is old and washed)

Spence would also have trouble with Keith for the same reasons
everyone has trouble with Keith, you can't anticipate when
Keith is gonna stop moving and clock you hard. And his good
and quick with heavy counters and throws at angles that can't
be anticipated. It's why he hurts everyone

Brook has dropped back in weight and carrying damage to his face.
I think Brook would have clearly handled Spence before the Golovkin fight

i think kell proved that his chin is rock solid, so thurman is going to have to aim for them eyeballs to get the KO

i think keith's foot work will confuse kell, kell wouldn't get into a great rythm but yes he may land some shots until thurman starts looping over hand rights over the jab on them eye sockets.

i would rather eat kell's jab than thurmans' right hand
