We all know that Garcia wants a rematch with Thurman but One Time is out til November, so why doesn't Danny Garcia get a stay busy fight in the mean time? And it's not like he's injured or anything. So what gives? Heck...why doesn't he go after Spence's belt? Spence already wants an opponent by September.
Danny Garcia is fighting...him and Angel are fighting over whether or not he will be a stepping stone at 147 or not. His power did not carry up, he can't adjust, his style is a counter-slugger and he looks vulnerable at full welterweight. He might as well fight Tim Bradley or something and wait for Crawford to move up. He should have took the $4 million for the Pacquiao fight. They never learn at the Haymon house.
Dudes a multi millionare who takes his fair share of damage every fight... Im sure hes not eager to get back into the ring... hes young and enjoying his money and time off. I dont think Garcia has that much ambition in the sport at this point.... and I think he knows that next million is just around the corner so will just wait for Thurman, Broner, ect. Why in the world would he fight Spence?
I want to agree . I think we might not see him again if Angel was serious about his comments post fight. Regardless...Haymon does keep his fighters inactive.
