Come on Billy dont be so silly David is not top 10 in the World. On box rec he's 25 but 5 in the U.K.. But that's above the likes of Fielding, Cox, Smith, Ryder who would all be favourites to beat David.. David at the minute is around the level of William, Blackledge and Cameron.. Super Middleweight division is the strongest maybe even in the world. I think it was a mistake putting him in with Groves I said at the time it was about levels.. On the other hand be patient fight Blackledge and Cameron let David develop then maybe onto a Ryder see how he goes.. If he goes in against Fielding or Cox he will be stopped.. Brophy is improving all the time but needs the right fights at the right time

 

David is more than capable of fighting any of the guys you mentioned david, yes the rankings can be a bit misleading, i mean they have paul smith number 5 in the world but lower than david in the british rankings

 

Regardless of how you rate either fighters it's good for domestic boxing to have two boxers who are local rivals with a similar CV face off against one another, as opposed to padding their records up against unknown journeymen until they are ready for a major title.

100% agree, John says publicly he wants a title fight and he's been offered one, never doubted he wouldn't take it like others
But when he feels the power in Tommy's punches things will change and change quick

 

Fair play mate, couldn't agree more in that a lot of people turn up and feel obliged to blow smoke up certain individuals backsides saying their event was the best thing since sliced bread.

I like MTK and what they are doing for the sport up here, they're putting on shows featuring local lads frequently, but could really do with a better product. Need fights like this to be a common occurance.

As a neatrul from what I can see John McCallum seems to have mental health issues. If I said I was British Champion, multi national amateur champion etc everyone would agree I had mental health issues as it's not true, well the same for McCallum. Agree the back and forth on twitter doesn't look good on both parties but I seen NcCallum made comments about Billy's son and Phillibins wife and Josh Taylor's mum that are A) Disgusting B) Cowardly C) downright scummy and all of which go well beyond trying to build a fight

 

I agree he doesn't seem the full shilling so what does that make the ones arguing with him. Seems to OK for him to be continuously slagged for the traveller background etc by the mob that seem to have formed on the Twitter. Double standards in play. Some carry on.
