Getting a normal job might be his best route now. He's done....

He said after the fight he can still make 147. If he can, who's another top fighter coming of a loss. Garcia. That's a big fight and the winner sets up a fight with either Thurman or spence. If he can't make 147. He can deifinately give 154 a go. I think he's got the ability to unify that division if he's fully fit and is comfortable at the weight.

whats the point in killing himself to make to 147 to fight garcia which he could potentially lose, and even if he beats garcia whats the point in fighting spence again or thurman, he would lose and suffer another beat down. He needs to fight khan at 147 on ppv or move to 154, where he would struggle in my opinion,

brook and dom said he can still make 147 its just kell baloons big in between fights. from GGG to Spence fight he had the eye injury and was not in the gym so the 20 week camp was mostly spent weight cutting. If he keeps his weight in check and actual trains lightly keeping the weight off he may maybe ok. Spence commented he was from 1 week off back to training as otherwise he get to big 170 ish.
He has pics of himself running miles right now.

The big advantage brook had over other WW was his frame, power and size which made him formidable at 147. I can only assume he and his team know best but i would not be surprised if he keeps in check for 1 more title fight at 147/khan fight one or the other. Then in 2018 go to 154.

or me going to 154 is basically an end to his career. The lads up there Charlo's etc are just bigger stronger faster and hit harder.

For me, he comes back at 147 for Khan, if he wins that he could aim for Thurman. I don't think Pac would fight him at this stage. Beat both Khan and Thurman tuff but not impossible he could then aim for Cotto at 154. He would have some status back and name recognition in the states to make it a marketable fight.

3 big fights and call it a day with a bit of prestige and some good money.

All ifs and buts its going to be a long road back for him

This is whats wrong with boxing, we'l never have rematches if this continues. It was possibly 2 of the top 4/5 welterweights facing off, one guy losing does not mean the end nor does it mean brook v spence 2 couldn't happen. The spence v thurman loser can also come back, people are written off way too easy in boxing these days. When 2 good fighters face each other obviously one will lose, it doesn't mean it is the end.

What your saying is completely right and i agree with you, But for someone like Brook is it ist't worth chasing a rematch with spence, its a real struggle for brook to make 147 and it's not worth it as he cant fight to his best there - he has out grown it, and with the body not being efective at that weight and him not being able to fight at his best he will get hurt again but thats because spence is the number 1 in the division for me, i think brook has a decent chance against thurman.

What you talking about taking a beating. Until spence popped his eye you gonna tell me that spence had it all his own way? He hurt spence multiple times. The fight was razor close. Don't come on here talking rubbish pal

Look at both fighters faces after the fight, and brook got knocked down from a body shot as well. he was behind on all the cards and let me guess the eye just swelled up for no reason, it wasn't to do with any of spences punches was it... and spence was never in any trouble you fool, didnt have a mark on his face at the end. razor close lmao.

What fight did you watch pal? It was close fight up until brooks eye started having problems. So if you've got a man that can't see in a ring then yeah chances have it he's going to get hit. Hence his face. Before that you gonna tell me spence won every round? Stop watching the sport you fraud

it was close after 8/9 rounds the spence won 10 & 11 with a knockdown, so at the time of the stoppage it wasn't that close. You act like the eye swelled up for no reason, Spences punches cause that, maybe cos ur a brook fan boy you didn't spot any punches the opponents was landing. casual.

Spence got the knockdown because of brooks eye was playing up. Fair play to him because he obvious punches hard enough to damage brooks eye. But how can you say that he wasn't helped by it. Brook was very much in the fight. It was a 50/50 fight up until the injury. Also using the word casual means you've been watching the sport for five minutes and you think you know everything already, and also tells me you've never stepped in a ring yourself.

All these arguments are silly. I was at the fight and it appeared to me like brook was winning up until the 6th. The 7th round onwards it was clear spence took hold of the fight, whether we can blame brooks weight draining for that is another discussion but on that night he faded and spences fitness was fantastic. If you actually watch the fight back brooks eye goes with around 1 minute to go in round 8. The eye did clearly play its part in the outcome, I think spence would of won on points without the eye going just purely down to his fitness. There wasn't much between them in terms of skill and speed in all honesty.
