Keith Thurman, if he says on the outside and strengthens up his body for punches. He will have to Ali vs Foreman that ****. Spence was getting out boxed by Brook, so Thurman has a chance to out point him as long as he is active in the ring, but he must keep moving.
He's very good but not levels above other top WW. He's pretty big though so you gotta favor him over most WW. Keith Thurman and Bradley would be decent matches but the only man I would confidently favor over him would be Terrence Crawford in due time. Prime Pacquiao and Mayweather both would have beaten him easily though.
This. A slickster who can dance for 12 rounds can beat Spence. Thurman can pull it off. Crawford would take him to boxing school.
Thurman can't. Have you heard about this thing called cutting off the ring? Spence does it very well. If Thurman tries to stay on the outside, Spence will get him to the ropes and hammer the **** out of that body. I'm not a big fan of Mauro Ranallo, but you gotta love his line "pounding the body like it's full of candy". That's exactly what will happen, repeatedly, and Thurman will eventually wilt.
He relies a great deal on his physicality. He has a lot in spade: power, size, speed, skill and chin. Thurman can give him a good run but I still favour spence. If he can make weight he can be the man at WW for awhile. I'm not certain he can be as successful moving up north.
Once Crawford moves up to 147 we can talk about Spence losing... Til Then the future unified WW champ resides in Dallas ! Sent from my SM-N900T using Tapatalk
