There are debates on Classic forum about the scorecards of Wlad vs AJ

Who do you think was leading after 10 rounds?

As for me, I can easily score it one way or another. Steve Weisfeld had Wlad winning with 2 points margin, while Don Trella and Nelson Vazquez had AJ winning with 2 and 3 points margin. All of them could be right with their score.

I gave AJ 3-1 lead in the early rounds (rounds 1,2 and 4 were very close, round 3 was strong AJ round).

Round 5 can be scored 10-8 or 10-9 based on Wlad's work late in the round.

    Rounds 6-8 were Wlad's (6th was 10-8).

    Round 9 was AJ's round

Round 10 AJ IMO took it but Wlad landed good counterpunch before the bell so it can be scored either way.

My card is 95-94 for AJ but I have no problem with any official scores from 96-93 AJ to 95-93 Wlad.

The 41 year old Wlad was winning before the stoppage.

I had it even. AJ went 3-0 up outworking Wlad in a tense opening then Wlad established his jab better in the 4th for 3-1. 5th was a 9-9 round (but I suspect the judges would have scored it 10-8 to Joshua simply because of the KD) and the 6th evened it up at 56-56, 3 rounds and a knockdown each. Wlad won the 7th and 8th as AJ clearly took them off to recompose himself before coming back to outwork Wlad in the 9th and 10th, leveling the scores again. Thought 2, 4 and 10 could have gone either way though so none of the judges cards were unreasonable IMO.

Even, 5 rounds apiece, each getting an extra point for the respective knockdowns.

about even really, but it didnt matter, since Wlad was starting to gasp for air and it was clear he wasnt going to win. The signs were there from round 9, his face was masking over with the effort of thinking about moving his arms right. The only thing really keeping him upright in 9 was JOshua giving him too much respect, and 10 being his last ditch lucky punch attempt to KO joshua.

In that case, and in every case where someone is gassed out, the other guy has already won.

Scorecards are 100% meaningless if you are getting ktfo, because you werent there to win the whole fight. You cant turn up to a fight, put all your effort into 10 rounds and then walk into the 11th and grin "hurhur I was just kidding, lets not fight anymore!"

I personally had AJ edging it, but very close and Think there is an argument to be made for Wlad at that point.

I had Wlad winning but cant remember what score.

If you scored the first 3/4 ALL to AJ then that is mad imo.
