Tyson beat wlad and schooled him without any problem, he also beat him 2 years before and when he was unbeaten

Joshua nearly got stopped by wlad

Joshua's win was far more exciting, but Fury's was the more impressive win for me, he totally shut Wlad down.

Yea also the fact he fought a younger wlad 2 years before and wlad was unbeaten for a decade.

Fury won every round against wlad and he prevented wlad from landing his shots

Yeah. Fury's win was very significant as it was the one that ended the reign of Wlad over the division, which had lasted for a very long time. Having said that, Joshua's win was also very good. It was one of the best heavyweight fights I've seen for many years.

Fury was away from home and won in notoriously bias Germany against a legend

Don't but into the klit took him light rationale. And the vlad that fought joshua was better. That's bull****. Klit is a pro and would know Tyson is super awkard

It was a boring awful close fight where most the rounds were decided by 2-5 punches landed. Joshua knocked the guy out.

Fury would never be able to stop Wlad, like Joshua did. But I could see Joshua winning on points, against Wlad if it went the full distance.

I think it somewhat unfair to compare the two because after the lost of fury Wlad was motivated as hell and was on fire to redeem himself

But that said, Fury barely won a fight which was very uneventful with hardly anything landed

Joshua won decisively and dramatically and certainly landed some damaging power.

Fury, on the other hand, has a woman's power, and he slapped his way to a decision win

Sure, a win is a win; but Joshua's was much more dramatic and decisive

And Joshua was/is willing to take a rematch. Fury, on the other hand illustrated his lack of discipline and his weak mentality and Couldn't seem to find his way into a rematch

The Wlad Joshua beat was in my view a better Wlad.....the punch output was far higher. I believe this Wlad would've ko'd Fury. And had the rematch occurred Fury would've been destroyed. Fury fanbois will of course disagree though mind you. Fury knew this and so chickened out BEFORE he was banned despite all that money that is really his only real motivation for fighting. He knew he'd dropped lucky and was a mere flash in the pan. When he does return he'll be fat and fail to impress or win a belt. Stick a fork in him...hes done.

    Bill****.

Vlad was being countered and Tyson didn't stay still long enough to let his hands go.

You can't throw loads punches at someone who isn't there

I agree... I find it hard to compare as well because i think they were different in so many ways... You could say fury beat champion wlad during his reign, but you can also say he was complacent.

I think the key difference for me and I really think people underestimate this was fury mentally did a number on Wlad. Not just in the fight but all the way leading up to fight night...

The press conferences and media work whenever they came face to face Fury completely unsettled wlad and I truly believe he beat him down psychologically and wlad seemed stunned during the fight like he didnt know what Fury was going to do. Thats not taking anything away from Furys performance in the fight because he did everything he said i was going to do... he ran circles around wlad but wlad really just let it happen in my mind.

Going into the Joshua fight, completely different there wasn't the same build up Wlad was allowed to be Klitschko again he was back in his comfort zone minus the belts. The mentality came out and in the performance plus wlad appeared alot more focused in the fight.

So both fights were everything the other one wasn't.

Both great win's but boht also have too many variables to make any real meaningful comparisons, Fury appeared to shut out Wlad completely, Nobody has ever done this before, This could be down to fury being a master awkward boxer for wlad or it could also be like many people believe that wlad was not mentally in the fight he couldn't let his hands go. It wasn't even like he was letting his hands go and fury was making him miss and he couldn't find the target, he simply was just not throwing anything. This is why the rematch was so important to put these questions to rest imo.

The wlad that fought AJ to me looked like a far more motivated and focused fighter than the one that fought fury. This could be due to AJ not being as awkward for him, but again he could simply have been just far more motivated. nobody know's the answers to these questions and that's why its important for AJ and Fury to just get it on. We all know by now triangle theories never work, Its like comparing fury going 12 rounds with kevin johnson, then a year later AJ knocks him out in 2 rounds.

Imo Fury is a far superior boxer to AJ but he lacks power, AJ has massive power with fast explosive combinations, That fight goes either two way's Fury UD or AJ KO.
