In the rematch, SOB knows he has the judges and referee on his side, so he can cheat again, there are no rules for SOB.................

Inside fighting though has been allowed to become destroyed by the refs though. Clinching has become so allowable by the refs that all a fighter has to do is get a clinch on a fighter to stop his inside assault. And then they reset from outside or midrange. You can clinch non stop and receive nothing, but warnings. You have to try and get a point deducted from clinching.

Kovalev understands this. He doesn't have much inside ability. Whether that's a natural deficiency for him or rather something he just never learned how to do. Whatever the reason, he can't fight inside. He doesn't have to know how to fight inside, he can just clinch.

 

I don't know if it's really fair to call Kovalev a slugger. He throws all of his punches hard sure but it's not like he just goes in there looking to knock someone's head off with power shots. He has a great jab that really hurt Ward in the first round and I think will be the key to whether he wins or not.

Every now and again Blizz makes a decent thread which I find bizarre as in 90% of his posts he can barely speak English. It's like on a certain day of the week someone else posts for him.

 

Weeks is the ref if you didn't already see. For some reason I get the sense that a lot of people who praised him for Mayweather-Maidana I will not be happy if he's similarly laissez faire in this fight.
