No! If they don't respect or give him credit now, then they never will!

if he actually beats him this time, yes.

I was giving him props for doing so well and keeping it close in the first before almost smashing my tv when the scores were read.

Ward lost his shot at respect once he said neutral judges would be unfair to HIM.

If Ward manages to win this time after losing the first fight, I would give him props.

Sure if it is a convincing win. The first fight was far from that. How could someone not give either guy props if they win by KO?

They won't. And when they say they will, there's always some pre-built condition designed to prevent them from giving credit.

IF he fights clean (they'll see even a normal clinch as dirty)
IF it's a fair fight (they think the commission, the judges, the ref, and the ring girls are out to destroy Kovalev).

I dont think anyone would not respect a legit win, but feel it is some of the other things around Ward fights that become the issues in a way. I have read on here, which may or may not be true that there was not wanted to be neutral judges. That may or may not be true and I havent read a source for that, just seen it somewhere on here, but it is those sort of things if correct, that I think become the issues

I didn't agree with the decision in the first fight, I wasn't happy but I gave Ward credit and respect.

Regardless how I felt about the decision I accepted it and let's be fair, Ward got off the floor and found a way to get himself back in the fight.

I respect all fighters anyway, I might give the odd one a little bit of stick on here but I hope I don't come across as completely disrespectful or that I don't admire all fighters courage.

If ward actually beats kovalev, to me that says more about how over rated kovalev is. After getting shafted, (YES SHAFTED) last time out he's going to do worse in the return fight ?

That would mean kovalev cracked mentally and was unable to handle the pressures, clearly. Kovalev is going to prove once again how large a gap there is between them in talent, if ward beats him, kovalev is done and needs to retire.

Kovalev will be winning big the entire fight, I fully expect to see the domination of round 1-4 throughout this entire fight. I know when both are fresh they are on entirely different levels and I fully expect a tip top shape kovalev.

Tko within 8, any other outcome I'll be surprised
