I had heard earlier and now Steffy Bull has announced on his twitter that this fight will be on his 2nd sept show at the Doncaster dome.
I think this should of been on tv but you never know maybe hearn can find a slot for it around tbe same time, either way im looki g forward to this match.
Barrett suprised us all and beat Cardle not long ago, he looked decent as well. Standard southpaw boxer type.
Ive never seen Lewis Ritson myself but if you ever mention him, they always talk highly of him. Aparantly a real strong kid who comes to fight and hes pretty good at it as well.
Ill probably get down there for this, i reckon its going to be a good night.
What does anyone else think about this gight

Interesting clash of styles and a lot of good fights for the winner at British level. Hyland jr, Murray, Dodd, Flynn, Cardle to name a few

Great clash of styles but Ritson is massive for the weight and if he gets past Barrett's southpaw style will win with ease, the other names mentioned would all lose to Lewis badly, he is what I call a rash of a fighter, all over you and clever with it

I'd have Ritson as favourite. Should be a decent fight though, hopefully it finds its way onto TV

Do you see the southpaw style being a factor, I know you feel Burns struggles with them?

Barret didn't surprise me with his win over cradle at all. Cardle lacks the foundations which is why barret boxed his way to the decision. Him having really close fights with masher, where in the second fight I though he lost, told me where cardle is in his career. Nice little 6/1 winner on barret that night.

Ritson is 2 dimensional and hasn't fought anyone, will fall well short against the shouthpaw style.

2 dimensional? can you explain better?

I have watched lewis once and i wasn't impressed only to get a dressing down by billy nelson telling me he was the next big thing. that was around 18 months ago and tbh lewis hasn't done anything of note except leave billy's gym:thumbsup::thumbsup:

This is the show I'm pencilled in to make my comeback. Looks like a cracking bill. Maxi Hughes is in a title fight as well as Andy Townend. I boxed stefy in the Doncaster Dome now I return on his show! Funny old game this boxing
