If Ward wins he will ether retire or as expect hold belts hostage in Oakland face opposition similar to Stevenson reign very poor fighter no ambition or have a 1 in 100 chance of winning Where's kov will want face Stevenson. He wants best. Undisputed what we all want ppl
I believe this to be true aswell. I can't see Ward carrying on his career with Gvozdyk and Beterbiev waiting in the wings.
Both names you mentioned are very incomplete fighters. If Ward is fighting Kovalev, he's definitely going to fight those, although a manhandling version of Beterbiev is a nightmare for Ward.
This. Ward, despite all the flak he gets, is a great fighter. If Kovalev can't beat him, then he can't beat him. I'll be cheering for Kovalev, but if Ward is better he deserves the nod.
I'd argue that Gvozdyk is the most complete fighter at 175 and imo the best puncher, extremely hard, fast and accurate. Granted we have yet to see his inside game but as with Lomachenko his footwork is out 9f this world. As for the 168 Ward ruled I would say this 175 division is much more stacked .
Same, cheering for Kov but may the best man win. I tend to think ward will win but I'm dreaming of a krusher KO!
100% Agree even though i am cheering for Ward, If Kovalev is the better man on the night that's who deserves to win, I don't want to see no biased score cards for ward either. I like kovalev and want him to have a fair shake.
I have a feeling that there will be a weird outcome such as a technical decision, a technical draw or a DQ.
Bute wasn't in the Super Six. Bute signed a two-fight deal with Carl Froch. Ward went on to face KOVALEV at Kovalev's best weight. Ward will fight anybody and his resume proves this. I don't care ultimately who the winner is (even though I'm a bigger fan of Ward), I just want the winner to fight Beterbiev.
I hope Kov beats the crap out of that pompous stuck up Ward who tries to con people in thinking he won that first fight.
