Haye hasn't been knocked out once, and hes being called chinny lol... I can count the Thompson fight as a learning curve. Gassed trying to blast out a wily old veteran, that's all...His chin has never been a problem. I think some people think being elusive and not taking shots is "chinny"

How can you say that any version of David Haye would knock Anthony Joshua out, based on what ?

If you don't know what people see in Joshua and if you think that AJ is a poor mans Wlad in the way that both of them have similar fighting styles, which they have not even remotely, you and the people who liked your post shouldn't be posting in a boxing forum.

Not in this thread. I want to know why you think that it's more likely that Haye would knock AJ out than the other way round, i want to know what would make David Haye a favorite in this matchup in your opinion.

By the way, i'm not hating on David Haye, he is one of my favorite fighters.

I can see Haye beating the slower and easier to hit Joshua, by stoppage. I can see Joshua not being able to outbox Haye due to his evasiveness, and going for the kill. In frustration, Joshua fails to hit Haye cleanly, resulting in him being countered by Haye and finished. I'm not saying that this would happen, but I could imagine this being the case. Joshua can win though.

Joshua is a better counterpuncher than David Haye and he is not really that easy to hit by combinations, Haye's counterpunching is sloppy at times and he is careless in exchanges whereas Joshua's counterpunching is
    extremely accurate with better timing.

I don't think Haye could knock him out with one punch when Wlad wasn't capable of it, Haye would have to follow with combinations and he would be countered by Joshua who throws the better and more effective combinations.

I think Haye would try to outbox him from the backfoot which is really the best he could do against AJ, he would be smart to fight cautious like he did against Wlad Klitschko.

The only advantage David Haye would have over Anthony Joshua is elusiveness, is this enough to win ? I don't think so.

I don't think Haye wins this.

If Haye runs and plays it safe, he most likely loses by decision.

If Haye tries to be aggressive, he'll most likely get knocked out.

Today's Haye gets stopped no doubt.

As we've seen AJ is more hittable that Wlad and at some point would have to taste a few haymakers I'm sure of it. That said, AJ's chin is better than we thought and would probably hold up for the most part. Imo Haye's power is very good but slightly overrated. Being shorter and having to aim up to punch will always decrease power and have a more telegraphed execution. AJ is more explosive than Wlad and always seems to catch something clean during flurries. Will Haye's chin hold up ? It's a tough one to call. I think the fight would go similar to Wlad - Haye but there will be far more opportunities for both of them to land due to better willingness to engage with no negative wlad style present in the ring. I give the slight edge to Joshua through simple reason big man beats smaller man and small edge for ring IQ.

Current Haye (even in best shape possible) stands no chance.

Don't get me wrong, i do think that Haye was a quality fighter in 2011 and he could be competitive for a couple of
rounds but winning the fight ? No.

As you said, if he would run and play it safe, he would most likely lose by decision and if he would try to brawl with
Anthony Joshua which is not a good idea for anyone unless he has incredible power and a granite chin which Haye
has not, he would get knocked out.

I still think a healthy current David Haye could beat Joseph Parker and Deontay Wilder in competitive fights though.

You need to rethink this. I genuinely don't believe that you think this.
