Helenius vs. Orlov RBR

You don't think he's hitting as hard? His punches seem to still be powerful from what I can tell. But I never thought he was the puncher Wlad or Povetkin are as some people do.

 

No way man........ Someone like Rill or Duhaupas wouldn't have gone 6 rounds with Helenius back in 2010-2011. Retired a faded by game Peter and beat what was left out of white wolf, that Robbie would have been a top 10 HW with a good punchers chance against Joshua and at the very least 50/50 with Wilder.

 

Who do you think are the best punchers in the game today?

I'd say Wlad, Kudryashov, Kovalev and Beterbiev. And that's in no particular order.

 

Yeah those guys are definitely among the top as far as concussive 1 punch power is concerned. And as much as I hate to admit it The Pimps cross is definitely an extremely lethal punch, certainly lands him among the bigger punchers. Joshua, Povetkin, Golovkin and Andy Lee(when he lands his right hook that is) Are in there too.

 

Andy Lee good call! He was always a very good puncher. Steward used to rave about his power.

 

He clearly has lost power since he tore his shoulder.

If Helenius gets elevated into the WBC top 15 from this, which I guess he is with some belt thingy being allocated to him from this last fight, he should always be ready for a Wilder short notice gig. Stiverne, pulling out, getting injured/drug busted days before any Wilder fight is at least a 40% chance IMO.

A shot at Wilder I reckon is the best option he's got from here. But Helenius would do well to look more feeble than Charles Martin, as I noticed he's now WBC top 15.

I just wish Wlad would hurry up and make his call ... then the HW division mess can incrementally begin to progress towards being something less of a joke than it currently is.

 

They are different kind of punchers. Wlad has the right and left hook to go with it. Povetkin is a combination puncher and throws a variety of punches really well.
Robbe to me is more of a body puncher - especially today. I don't know if it's because of the injuries (shoulder and hand problems), but Robbe doesn't use much straight right to head, but much more prefers right to the body - and it's a really hard punch.

I would say Robbe has the hardest right to body today. A very large percentage of his knockdowns come from that punch.

 

That bodywork of his is brutal no doubt.

 

Helenius couldnt get him out? He is certainly shot, power is completely gone...

 

Molecule quits after six. Robert hurt him with body shots in every round; you can see how he winces in pain in almost every round.

Molecule is durable fighter. To me this was fairly positive showing from Robert

I thought Helenius was on a roll when he stopped Brewster and Peter, whom both had decent chins. Well Peter not so much now but then...
But that shoulder surgery zapped his power.

He lost twice in 2016 by first and second round knock outs...
