A bad ending. You never want a fight to end on a foul.

You can see Kovalev yelling, also, because he's pissed the shot was low.

 

He went over like that previously off legitimate body shots and you can see he was already squatted down before that shot landed.

It wasn't a good stoppage but the Krusher was done after only 8 rounds and was getting stopped either way.

No wonder the poor fcuker was struggling, that kinda things happen when you get punched in the balls. Ward is one of the dirtiest fighters of all time, masterful boxer my ass!

 

Nah , shots on the belt line dont hurt your balls. He chose to slouch over during the fight because he was knackered from missing countless shots and getting countered to the head and body.

Lomo got hit to the belt line / groin in his last fight and just shrugged it off because he was in full control.

Krusher was falling apart at the seams.

 

The shots were below the belt line, Ward is nothing masterful just a dirty SOB. Kovalev did something wrong, he should have fought fire with fire and fouled back.

 

The fight lasted 8 rounds and the only notable low blow came at the finish which lasted about 2 seconds. And by that time Krusher was already slumped over looking like he had nothing left.
The result wasn't cause by low blows.

 

He was landing those shots all the fight, they will have had a massive effect on Kovalev woukd they not? Kovalev was winning the fight plain and simple.

The shots were on the belt line and his trunks were above his belly button.. Are your sacks located near your navel region?

 

So now only shots to the balls count as a low blow? News to me flower, go watch the fight again. Ward is a dirty fcuker that gets away with murder in the ring, I wonder how much he pockets in a fight after he's paid out the ref and judges......

 

Two low blows in the round that IMO land below the elastic, really bad ref job. IMO Ward did not need these, he was ahead and looked like he was going to put Kov away legit. First took the starch out of Kov and it was all down hill from there, bad ending to a good fight from Ward.

 

He beat his ass plain and simple. Hit him right on the belt and Kovalev tried to play it like it like he hit him n the balls. The last shot was definitely a low blow but this was after Kova had already been destroyed and was not intentional but a result of Kovalev being low and doubled over from the body shots and Ward was trying to get into those guts. Can't stand Ward but no doubt about it. He wrecked the Krusher. This was supposed to be no excuses. And Kov was supposed to kill Ward. All respect to Ward. He is brilliant.
