really like callum but imo he won't become #1 in the division. i find him to be very stiff and imo would lie better served getting a new trainer as joe gallagher seems to be struggling as of late. I'm not sure if joes confidence has taken a pounding with recent results but the team as a whole seems to not be the confident arrogant machine it was 24 months ago:thumbsup:

I agree. I believe Smith will win but no chance will he become #1 in the division.

168 is a weak division, I disagree and think he has a better chance than anyone of becoming number 1, he's young and very talented. His 1 round destructive performances against Fielding for the British title and Muhoumadi for the European title ( who went the full distance with Degale) proved he's way above those levels, they were great performances.

all the boxingforums nerds are like sheep at the moment with their hate of gallagher and his gym, so many sheeps.

who will become number 1 then in your opinion? theres only him, Groves and Benavidez that look good to me, it's one of the weakest divisions don't know how you can claim he has 'no chance'.

those performances were absolutely top notch but you seem to forget his performances against rebrasse, black ledge and the other 2 foreign guys where it looked as if something was not right with him. maybe its making super middle as he is massive and a move to light heavy must be in the not too distant future

How's does Callum beating the worst Dirrell brother "stfu the haters"?

If Callum Smith does beat Dirrell it does not erase the past results or performances from the brothers, gym mates or JG and it does not excuse last night.

The fact is Zeuge is seriously average, 119-108 x3 and I've not seen a single complaint from anybody about those scores either, that's how bad Smith was last night.

What do you expect people to say? Of course people are going to criticise Smiths lack of performance and JGs advice and tactics.

well put it this way they won't like it. he'll be a world champion. They'll be hoping callum loses they are taking this gallagher hate too far, all gyms have good and bad periods.

Let's wait and see if he beats Dirrell first. He looks the part against cannon fodder so Dirrell is a bit of a step up (he ain't great either) and it is a very weak division so you may be right.

I wasn't impressed with Zeuge at all, very average. Would be target practice for Groves.

I've yet to be blown away with Smith, I like him. I could see him holding a Title but not 100% sure he'll win this one. Wish him well though. I'd like to see him in with Groves stylistically. The fellow Benavidez looks class.
