Correct me if I'm wrong, but Ward and Billie Joe Saunders have the same mom, right?

If it had to do with race then why the hell was Loma and kovalev in my rankings dummy. Lets see your list troll.
I live in America jackass and here ward is seen as black he lives his life as a black man in America. And lastly like I always say if he was wanted by the police his physical description would be that of a black man. I don't care what you think you don't matter and you don't live here. You don't have a clue as to what you're talking about. Btw ward TKO 8 kovalev deal with it alt coward troll.

Lets sum up ward v kov then, kov should have been 1 up because he did win the first fight, there is no way kovalev didnt win any of the last 6 rounds in that fight, no way!!

This fight was very close and ward may have finished the stronger but you cant automatically assume that and ward should have been warned for those punches, kovalev given time to recover and see what happens, so 1 all AT BEST for Ward, in any sane world.

Tried to tell people you cant go into a fight with high emotions like that (see Trinidad-Bhop) against a technician like Ward

The stoppage wasn't too early but in fact too late. Kovalev should've been saved when he gave up his back for the second time in the fight off a legal blow. He unfortunately had to eat a massive right and a flurry from Ward that was completely unnecessary, as turning his back had already indicated he no longer wanted to fight.

Exactly! He turned his back which is a clear sign that he wanted out but kovalev fans don't mention this.

One judge had kovalev 3 up going into the last round, just because someone has a bad round doesnt mean they are totally done, you cant end a fight on low blows, unless you are a ward fan of course

Some of the emotion people are posting with is clouding their judgement, I can literally feel the rage and gloating in some of these posts. Ward landed a great shot that hurt kovalev, he then landed 3 low blows & the ref jumped in, which essentially robbed both fighters. It was a terrible refereeing job, end of story.

Ward looked to be on his way to stopping kovalev, Sergey looked tired. But for anyone saying kovalev was completely finished, I also thought there was absolutely no way back for Joshua after the 5th round against Klitschko, but it can happen. The ref robbed of us a potentially great 2nd half.

Anything below the belly button is illegal, Ward had close to a dozen last night. Good adjustments by Ward, lose the fight, go low. Ref should have stopped that **** from the beginning so we could have truly seen who the better man was. Not a man getting his career ruined by someone illegally pounding him to the bladder.

Unfortunately its just one of those fights we might as well all forget about, just like the last decision, it stinks but there is nothing that can be done about it, they need a clean 12 rounds, no BS, no low blows, and if there are from ward they need to be warned on to stop it, fat chance of that happening so this is done, this fight was razor close, you dont need to low blow your opponent to win a fight

Whoa. Ward beat up and made Kova bend over in submission and quit, and these clowns are STILL talking about the first fight in which Ward won to try and get their point across. I've pointed out dozens of times how the body shots Ward threw in the first fight were the most effective punches and destroyed Kova's stamina yet it was largely ignored, they actually believed in Kova's excuse that he was over trained LOOOOL.

These clowns completely ignored the facts and claimed that Kova won due to throwing the harder shots(lol wut?) Then Ward does the same thing in the 2nd fight, and these guys are singing the same tune. The BODY SHOTS were the hardest, most effective punches in BOTH fights. The right hand that made Kova do the drunken ****** dance simply sealed the deal, Kova didn't want to be there anymore and QUIT. The post fight interview only confirmed this, Kova was all over the place with his excuses and looked like the beaten man. He knew wtf time it was.

Kovalev was still feeling those body shots from the first fight and knew he didn't want anymore. That's why in the rematch he was crying damn near every time he got hit with a body shot. The boy is soft he can't take it to the body and was looking for an out.
