He quit, you know it and I know it. He bent over and didn't want anymore, HE DIDN'T WANT TO BE THERE. He was beaten mentally and physically, that right hand to the jaw was the end, Kova had nothing left.
no, he wanted time, and if you'd been lowblowed then you'd need time, unless theres something eunuch telling us about yuorself. but he was gassed out and the stoppage wasnt bad, the question remains though why he wasnt given a standing count.
Lol, wanted time, wtf are you talking about? He got hit RIGHT IN THE SOLAR PLEXUS, then got hit with the hardest punch in the fight, a right hand straight to the chin with all of Ward's body weight behind it. It was done by that point, Kova went straight to the ropes and bent over submission like a little girl, Ward then proceeded to finish him off, the post fight interview tells us all we needed to know. Kova was beaten mentally and physically, have you ever boxed before? Yes, I've been low blowed before, I also got hit with a body shot in the solar plexus like Kova did. Your body freezes up, you can't move and you're in extreme pain. A natural reaction from getting hit in the balls is Bowe-Golota. Kova is simply a man who got destroyed to the body, it happened in the first fight and it happened last night. Nothing you can really say.
A count would have been fair, certainly breather once the largely unnecessary low blows had landed at the end. I am not sure why you would try to refute that, that is...IF YOU HAVE EVER BOXED BEFORE.
Why? Should Walters have been giving a count after turning his back with Loma, or how about Duran-Leonard 2 or Lewis-McCall 2? Kova didn't want to fight anymore, the referee knew it, Ward knew, even Kova knew it. You can see it in his eyes, Ward completely broke Kova's will to fight. He almost cried post fight interview LMFAO.
tell you what, give me 2 free shots at your balls and lets see if you look broken and weepy or not. if you make it thru without a blemish then you have won the argument. yeh mate, exactly.
The same people who are praising ward for the stoppage are the same people who would have agreed with the ref if he'd done his job properly and given him a standing count/5 min or whatever. Whichever way you look at it it's poor reffing. That said, the fight was probably heading for the same outcome but at least let it go on a bit for gods sake.
