Kovalev would walk through GGG. Further, we seldom speak on how good Kovalev's defense particularly his head movement is. That sun of a ***** is a hard target to hit. He stalks in a perfectly relaxed fashion with his hands down yet as soon as you go on the offensive his head miraculously moves and his high guard pops up out of no where. GGG, not so much. GGG would be scared to let his hands go just like he was against Jacobs. He is fighting somebody with a far better jab and cross and ggg only shot would be to land a left hook, which he would be scared to throw anyway for fear of being countered. The fight wouldn't go 6 rounds and you all are smoking meth if you think otherwise regardless of this sparring nonsense.

Golovkin is the most versatile fighter. Great chin, great stamina, can fight at all ranges, complete punch arsenal.

Kovalev does have the better resume and power though.

GGG is better than both Kovalev and Ward.

Darnell Boone, who fought Ward and Kovalev and sparred with GGG, has said GGG beats both Kovalev and Ward.

    I agree.

kovalev's defense and head movement is nothing special at all . is size really a issue. thats the question. is ggg power for real or not . we already seen kovalev's power isnt exactly what we thought it was is it going to be the same for ggg?

i respectfully disagree when a fighter with the hand eye coordination of andre ward has difficulty hitting your head that more than warrants recognition of his superior head movement

Boone, the man with 23-24 record who knocked both Ward and Kovalev down and had them both in major trouble.

Ward appears to be moving up in weight, not down.

Golovkin actually does have better overall technique than both Ward and Kovalev. They are all high level boxers so there are some things that they do better than each other and you also have to take into consideration the size advantage they both have over Golovkin, but Golovkin is better.

Golovkin is more versatile than Kovalev and although he isn't as awkward and...I don't want to slick exactly so I'll go with evasive and I think you all will know what I mean even though that word doesn't capture exactly what I'm trying to communicate, he actually controls distance better than Kovalev when he chooses to fight like that and his work on the inside is better and his ability to deal with clinches. Ward is a better grappler (I do not mean this as an insult) than both of them and is better at neutralizing his opponent by exploiting their flaws. Golovkin has better stamina than both men (he is a ****ing freak, again a compliment).

    Ggg destroys kov.

Has done in sparring with bigger gloves. He stops him rounds 5-7 when kov inevitably gasses.
