Rigondeaux vs Flores to be changed to a no decision

They gave the guy a chance to continue, do you think Flores was in condition to resume fighting? he's not crazy why criticize him, he felt the power of Rigo and was probable too dizzy.

 

That's fine but he should do it within the rules.

Good call. Very interesting to see if anything will happen with Kov-Ward now. I expect the TKO victory for Ward to stay, but there's always a chance.

Disgraceful decision by the ref/officials. Even after seeing the replay on the monitor he/they still got it wrong. I don't think Rigondeaux, Flores or the officials can come out of this with any credit.

 

They spent longggg time watching the replay both guys were exchanging blows until the bomb exploded the referee was couple seconds too late to intervene **** happens in boxing never forget "protect yourself all the time and good luck"

 

I hope they do change it to a NC.

I have to say though with the referee wearing a mic and hearing the conversations and watching them huddle together and somehow arrive at a KO win for Rigondeux it was a great insight to just how these referees and officials actually behave and work.

SOB's boxing commission had to change it, the video proved them wrong, they tried to lie, but were called on it. Now it's time the video replay be reviewed on the SOB low blows. Low blows are against the rules................should boxing get rid of all the rules for both fighters?

 

NC is the right call for sure. Although it was only 1 round though, Rigo looked sharp still. Shame it ended like that. Also **** Flores, that was such a diva dive

 

I'm amazed Rigondeaux didn't get DQ'd after holding Flores's head and going to work on him. The punch after the bell is a lot more difficult to prove as they were both swinging and neither had any real intention of hitting after the bell and would have struggled to stop those punches from connecting.

 

The rules state that it was a NC.
So if Dan is right, then justice has been served.
But as has already been mentioned, it did give us the viewers and fans of boxing a live insight into the shennanigans going on behind the scenes.
It itook them forever to come to the wrong decision whilst all along been recorded and listened to on live tv.
If theyd of simply followed the rule book, the decision could of been made immeadiatly by the ref.

As much as I want "chucky" to have a TKO loss for trying to snatch the title by pulling Dirrell, NC is the right decision.

 

I don't think Flores was acting at all. He looked like he was really rocked from that punch. It was a delayed reaction, but there seemed to be a lot of force behind it.
