Except the Bivol fight wasn't stopped after an illegal blow...

Boxing 101: An illegal blow cannot result in a TKO/KO victory.

If one's nuts have somehow found their way to the belt-line, one is most likely in a world of hurt, already.

I'm not a weeks fan but the difference is PBF still won his fight. I find it funny at how people like you loved the way Weeks let Maidana mug PBF but now all of a sudden have a problem with him in the rematch of Ward-Kovalev. I thought the ref and judges didn't matter especially since Kovalev was supposed to stop Ward anyway? Right??? He was angry! LMFAO!!!

Can't you stay on topic? SJW beta males?

I have some factual disagreements with you. The body blows in the middle of the 8th round were on the beltline. Those were good shots. Weeks instructed the fighters that shots on the beltline were OK.

Second, your characterization of the final sequence makes it seem like Kovalev was in better shape than he really was. "Bobbing and weaving?". That is charitable at best. He was in a world of trouble. How else did he wind up on the ropes? Do you normally see Kovalev backed up on the ropes in a defensive posture? Have you ever seen it?

This tells the kind of shape the krusher was in. If the krusher is on the ropes with Ward wailing away at him, the krusher is in very bad shape.

What do you think would have happened in the remaining 40 seconds, had Weeks let it continue? Do you think Kovalev makes it out of the round? Does he survive another 12 minutes in that shape? He was dead exhausted, far, far worse than in the first fight. The new conditioning regimen simply didn't work and he had expended much more energy this time, throwing many more punches and missing many more. For Kovalev to have survived and come back to win would have been miraculous.

I think Kovalev was saved from something far more horrible.

Maidana never landed numerous blatant low blows on Floyd.

Floyd was rough housed but all within the rules, yet you and others still complained about Weeks but suddenly he was in the right to allow Ward to land these shots.....shots that where much worse than anything Maidana did.

I wanted Kovalev to win, I had him up but admit Ward was coming on very strong but the fact YOU and others are going out of your way to blatantly ignore what happened is laughable.

What? You're joking right? Do you not remember Maidana kneeing PBF hitting him behind the head wrestling him hitting him low. Yes he fought a dirty rough housing fight against PBF. The difference is PBF fought on despite it and won the fight.

LOL Floyd is as dirty as the next fighter the only difference is he gets away with it because meant to be this great technician (which he is).

Most fighters, referee's etc fall into the trap of it being the "Mayweather" show, Maidana didn't play to the script.

Again I wanted Kovalev to win, I dislike Ward but there was only one winner in my eyes after rd 7 and that was Ward. BUT you are blind to the way the fight ended as it seems with Floyd retired you have found your other male idol in Ward.

There where low blows and the ref was quick to jump in.

Funny thing about it. Ward isn't even my favorite fighter after PBF that would be Spence. Ward is like my 5th or 6th favorite fighter. I'm just calling it like I see it. Ward proved a lot of people wrong he did the impossible he stopped Kovalev and some people can't get over that fact.

Okay....deep breath......Tbh I prefer Gvozdyk and Beterbiev at 175, personally thought it was a bad end to a fight that Ward, imo sadly was on his way to winning.

Now just wait and watch Ward avoid Gvozdyk and Beterbiev ;).....

There was no low blow until the last shot and that only happened because he was in a fetal position from those body shots

And let's say theoretically in another universe there were more low blows, it just means he has glass balls. That's all.

Stevenson is the fight he needs to make if possible.

But he didn't avoid Kova, who everyone seemed to think was invincible until Ward twice defeated him. If they money is right, I'm sure he's willing to fight the other EE's.
