Mayweather " I don't want weeks being ref for my fights again!"

Weeks isn't interested in any of Floppy-Floyd's Circus SHAMMING anyways...

 

I would never want Weeks to ref any of my fights.................the only was SOB could beat Joshua is to have the fight in Vegas, with Ward's personal referee, judges, boxing commission, SOB would come out and headbutt Joshua in the testicles! Fight Joshua is UK, Joshua would put him into the hospital...........

 

So which one is it? You guy's like s Weeks back then. Now you hate him?

 

Smoger is the man... Not saying Weeks is bad but Ive never been a fan.. I like refs who let fighter fight and wont stop fights or a world class level athlete unless they are visibly and obviously done.. A true champ gets up and fights till the end.. Its boxing.. I also like the dude that refs Cotto vs Judah I forget his name.. But he gave Judah plenty of chances to recover and also the Cotto Foreman fight... That guy will let them go till the end..

 

Smoger's a far worse ref than Weeks. He's let multiple guys take unnecessary punishment because he's lazy and out of position and I have no idea what philosophy of refereeing suggests it's correct to simply pull on one guy's arms when breaking a clinch.

 

Ron Lipton is a great ref who seems to be blackballed 4 sum reason

 

I respect your opinion.. But I stick to my choices and don't agree. No ref is perfect but some refs are just stupid and Wekks just joined the list and I'm saying this although Ive been saying all along that Ward would beat Kovalev even though that stoppage was disgraceful so it has nothing to do with that.

 

Smoger's performances in Lebedev-Jones Jr, Kirkland-Tapia, and Sillakh-Wandera were all far more disgraceful than anything Weeks displayed last night. This doesn't even get into fights where there weren't guys taking unnecessary beatings thanks to him; Hopkins-Murat and Alexander-Maidana spring to mind.

 

When a high profile ref messes up (which happens quite often) they shouldn't be allowed to make $$$ reffing high tier fights for a while intill they prove themselves again.

it is weird how Week's let Wlad Klitschko pummel Pulev but stops the Kovalev fight on a low blow. Makes no sense. I don't have a problem with any of the punches but the final shot which was clearly very low.

 

I remember the hate Weeks got after every Wlad fight.

 

I don't blame him. Weeks let Maidana foul the **** out of him but the difference is he fought on despite it and won. Where was this outcry about Weeks when he let Maidana maul PBF back then? All we heard was that Weeks called it right down the middle and he let Maidana work. Posters like CJ love Weeks and called him a great ref. Funny now we haven't heard a word from CJ.

Ive only seen the Hopkins Murat fight from those but Ill check it out.. I defintely agree on unnecessary punishment for sure.. Just feel like fighters should be allowed to continue unless completely and visibly hurt..I think Kovalev was hurt but sholdve been given an 8 count at least.. So about smoger yeah maybe youre right Ill have to check out some of those fights.. I just feel the stoppage was stupid honestly an robbed the fans of a bit more action or another bs controversial decision which affects both fighters.. Mainly when it is at such an elite level of a fight such as these type of fights.
