The winner of Golovkin-Canelo. Kick the ball further down the road.

LMAO! Hey if GGG wins that fight there really is no arguing he's PFP#1. And I fully expect him to. And I bet he'll do so without VADA loop holes and nut shots! GGG has more integrity than that.

Andre ward who has a better resume right now? The winner of GGG canleo will be number 2 imo, The winner of that fights needs a couple big fights to take the top spot.

Lots of others in the mix behind them with potential but again they need big fights to solidify themselves,

    Ward easily.

If Golovkin wants to be the p4p #1 he should challenge Ward if/when he beats Canelo.

Definitely, after all everyone on here is saying Canelo has an iron chin and is unstoppable, for all Kovalev's power and fearsome image, most always had the perception that he had a fragile beard and body, no one thinks such things about the uber-macho fearless Irish warrior Nelo, so if GGG can stop him with relative ease, there will be no doubt in anyone's mind.

If GGG KOs Canelo, then the only fight for him left is Andre Ward. Ward can drop to 172 or whatever and GGG can bulk up. Make it happen.

I've said Golovkin based on me thinking he beats Canelo.

I'm quite confident once he beats Canelo he'll be a consensus number 1 p4p and probably classed as one of the best 160 fighters in history by a sizeable amount of posters.

Ward consistently fights quality opposition but his two wins have slight taints to them.

I think he deserves full credit for his performance against Kov, but realistically speaking the last shot was low and should have had recuperating time.

Then again Duran Vs Buchanan and Khan Vs Judah show it isn't the first or last occasion of this sort.

I saw Kov take some flush bombs from Pascal so I figured his chin was solid. Still see it as solid but not A grade. Kovalev was dropped by Caparello and Darnell Boone. He was also stopped in the amateurs. He was badly rocked by Ward who hasnt rocked anyone since Dawson. GGG apparently hurt him to the body and so did Ward so looks like that is his weakness.

    Lomachenko.

Head and shoulders above the rest in talent, already a 2 weight world champion and only wanting to fight the best.

Are people seriously saying GGG vs Canelo will decide #1?

Sorry, but the two fighters we saw last weekend are both head and shoulders above GGG and Canelo.

GGG vs Canelo winner will solidify a position in the #10. To put either of those guys as #1 is LAUGHABLE.

His best win is Nicolas Walters lol, I understand where you are coming from in terms of the talent that you see but to be p4p no1 you have to prove it in the ring fighting the best,
