If Lemmy goes out there in seek and destroy mode, and doesn't try and be a Erislandy Lara clone he can beat anyone @ 160 or at least give them a good go. When he tries to be too cute and thinks he's a boxer he can be exposed badly.

I suppose he always had a punchers chance but when he goes for it that multiplies his chances IMO.

Saunders is the one boxer I'd really love to see get laid out, and there's no one who could do it in as brutal fashion as Lemieux. As much as I dislike Saunders, Lemieux looked like garbage his last fight, and I have to admit I'd favour Saunders at least slightly to outbox and frustrate Lemieux for a decision, but Lemieux only has touch him right once over 12 rounds to put him to sleep and it sure would be fun watching him try. Please make it happen. GGG-Canelo card of course would be perfect.

 

BJS will never fight Lemieux. He could hardly get past Avakov, who is a poor man's Lemieux.

 

To be fair to Lemieux, that fight fight was probably on short notice hence the 163 weight. It was an easy money grab and a chance to be on a ppv card for him.

The way he showed up for the Curtis fight I was like, ummmmm he is out of shape
