Some people won't like this but **** em, Gennady has never lied, he has changed his mind a lot, but never lied.
He knows he could have been given the Roy Jones Jr. DQ when he punched Lemieux while he was down, so all of you talking that low-blow mess then everything has to be changed in boxing history.

That's a great point. Triple G hit Lemieux while he was down. He could have been DQ'd for that. Roy Jones was for doing that to Montell Griffin. It's real telling to hear Triple G say "Beautiful Ward" Triple G isn't complaining about the stoppage like many Triple G and Kovalev fans on here are. He's giving Ward full credit for such a great performance. Even Kovalev gave some credit to Ward on instagram. He didn't want to be forever known as a crybaby. So why can't their fans do like their favorite fighters and give Ward credit? How many posters on here who we know are Kovalev and Triple G fans can't stop complaining, making up stuff about all these low blows, ignoring Kovalev's fouls, etc, just going on and on just making excuse after excuse for Kovalev losing, and yet the fighters that they are fans of give Ward full credit? I like Triple G, he's truly a gentlemen and he doesn't complain. We know Kovalev isn't a gentleman, he talks all this stuff about how he's gonna beat up Ward and he got beat up. We know Kovalev conducts himself in unprofessonal ways, walks out on press conferneces and what not, but when push comes to shove, well he curled up, complained to Weeks about low blows that weren't low, and still blames Weeks, but yeah even the Komplainer still gave some credit to Ward. If you're fans of these guys, especially Triple G, take a look at how Triple G reacts to what happened. No whining, no complaining : This is boxing.

That's the difference between having some class or not.
Crying, Complaining, making up Excuses shows no class and respect for themselves.

he said maybe a little too soon, maybe Kovalev should have been given a little more time ... in an IFL interview he said he thinks that the ref should have let the fight go a few more seconds. He knows Ward had that fight in the bag and had it won.... which he did

Agree the fight was defo stopped too early, without doubt Kov should have been given a standing count if ref thought the blows were legit or given Kov time to recover if he thought the blows were too low. It wsa only a matter of time tho ... that right hand proper shook Kov to his boots and Kov knew it. The problem Kov had was that he hasnt much experience of being rocked or hurt as he blows most of his opponents out, therefore lacked the experience to get him thro it.

the writing was on the wall no question, I think Kov was surprised at how much more Andre had in comparison to the first fight. Ward defo sussed him out. I would happily watch a 3rd fight cos regardless of Wards ability Kov can still bang anyone outta there and he will have learned more from that fight than he has his last 10.

Kov did not have a different approach. He fought the same way he did the first time IMO. Ward mixed it up and forced Kov to use his energy up on the inside by pushing Ward's weight off of him. No inside game from Krusher which is where he needed some fine tuning for Ward.
Ref still screwed up this match
