They have only named one fighter, hold your horses.
Unless you have seen him declining to be in the tournament?

Most here think he's a British level bum, yet at the same time they say King Arthur is a cherry pick LOL.

This is consistent through social media and the press!!!

A British level bum can't cherry pick King Arthur ffs, so delusional, King Arthur is still a world class fighter. He might not be the best fighter in the division now, but he could beat domestic fighters without any bother for sure, if you're not World class you can't beat Abraham!!!!!

He might still be involved ... too early to say IMHO since only Groves has been confirmed.

Just a small update but Jamie cox has asked Eddie to get him into the tournament, I know that Hearn said it was possible that he will have fighters in the tournament and kalle sauerland said in an interview they were in negotiations with Hearn and could be 2 fighters from matchroom so possibly cox is one.

Thanks. The SMW tournament is not that strong so I'd imagine Jamie Cox would have a decent chance of getting in.

But doesn't he already have a September fight with Rocky Fielding scheduled? I guess he'll pull out if he's in the WBSS.

Lol there are only 7 spots left, absolutely positively no way he gets in, FFS he's not in the top15 in any of the rankings including IBO, and he's a proven bum at that.

I know Kessler isn't ranked either but at least he was a gun in his prime, Cox shouldn't be any where near a million dollar pay day.

I know, and I agree that Cox shouldn't be getting in, but it seems they are short of good participants. And with Hearn behind him ... Who do you think will be in?

Hearn did mention having Callum smith in the tournament as long as dirrel is as well so they can still have there title fight but I don't believe Hearn will put smith in it, will hope he wins against Dirrell then set up a mega fight against degale.

Korobov I don't think deserve's it either but I'd put him in well ahead of Cox for sure and any of

    Callum Smith
    Anthony Dirrell
    Andre Dirrell
    Uzcategui
    Ramirez
    Hart
    Benavidez
    Eubank Jr
    Abraham
    Fedor Chudinov
    Dimitri Chudinov
    Yildrim
    J'Leon Love
    Caleb Plant
    Lucian Bute
    Skoglued
    Feigenbutz
    DeCarolis
    Peter Quillin
    Medina
    Nielson

    And many more including
    Brophy
    Fielding
    Quinlan
    Paul Smith

I'd rank 100's ahead of Obodai Sai Jr

how many fighters in the tourney. i'd imagine six.

guys that i think would have no problem joining.

    groves,andy lee, korobov

then if we can get ramirez that would be great an just maybe chavez jr at 168 can enter for giggles

n then try to convince kessler to get in it or most importantly benevidez

Kessler was ripped off in America when SOB Ward, who owned the super six tournament, had Kessler to travel across the ocean to fight in his home town, with his personal referee, judges and boxing commission. SOB did nothing but wrestle, hold, elbow, head butt, low blows, etc., his personal referee allowed him to do so, but in the last round, SOB ran across the ring and butted Kessler with an obvious illegal, intentional headbutt, SOB's referee stopped the fight on the cut, called it a TKO when is should have been a disqualification...............even the commentators said it sure looked intentional, he came across the ring then butted Kessler like a billy goat would do.................watch it..................I would not blame Kessler if he never came America ever again.................

    Listened to that interview

He actually said at least 1 super middleweight and at least 1 Cruiserweight, possibly 2 in both

He also said a super middleweight will get announced Monday or Tuesday (UK Time), he sounds like he doesn't think the tournaments will go on schedule with injuries and bs, I think injuries shouldn't make a difference, if you get injured you're out.
