Can we finally be honest about Floyd Mayweather and his jealousy of other Fighters?!

AJ thought he'd be the bigger man eventually and just give Mayweather what he needs to feel comfortable - validation, telling him how great he is. AJ didn't care about these petty mind games, he's more secure in himself as a person. Sometimes you just have to let those weird personality types be weird.

That's because those guys aren't doing as well as him. I think it was Broner who said it not long ago. Mayweather is only cool with you as long as you aren't doing better than him. When he sees someone doing as good or better than him in certain aspects, he becomes very insecure.

 

At times during the post-fight press conference, I could see Gervonta getting a little frustrated that Mayweather is speaking for him at almost every turn and when Mayweather turned the press conference about himself, Gervonta just had that look on his face that 'I just won a fight, I'm not interested in hearing any of this'.
