Siri vs Lomo OFF (Siri hurt) Rigo calls out Lomi @126!!

I think this is the best move Loma can make. A win over Rigo would be absolutely colossal, too and make Loma a lock for HOF if he were to retire immediately after it.
The only problem is, Rigondeaux agreed to 126lbs and a rehydration clause, agreed to money, and then bounced out last minute and then said 'I want to fight at 124lbs'. Rigo therefore ducked Lomachenko already. He seems like a bit of a time waster to me.

Because Rigo is just so economical, it will make for a good fight.

 

He says he can meet him half way at 126 or at a CW at 128. . Lomo should call him out on it. That fight has more importance and long lasting significance than a Salido rematch.
Salido is old news. Nobody will care about that loss if Lomo beats Rigo.

I'd be surprised if Arum doesn't nix it. If you look at the Dontae boxing interviews with Loma, and his manager, Loma said the weight, and everything was agreed to. If I recall, his manager also stated Rigs was only offered like 400 or 500K, which tells you right there that Arum is the problem. Arum knows Rigondeaux isn't fighting a top level opponent like Lomachenko for 500K. Then Arum turns around and says Rigs wants three million. Arum just doesn't want Rigondeaux to derail another one of his stars.

If it is to make big dollars fighting Davis on the Circus card you can't really blame Salido at all. Maybe I'm just a pessimist/cynic but if the Davis/Salido fight happens and Davis wins I wouldn't be surprised if Mayweather then uses that as an excuse not to make the Lomanchenko vs Davis fight happen. I can see it now, "Salido showed the blueprint to beating Lomachenko then Tank beat Salido. Aint no blueprint on how to beat Gervonta so there's no need to make that fight we already know what would happen."

 

This fight has far passed it's expiration date. Loma's team need to just move on. They should have gave Salido an offer he could not refuse if they truly was desperate to redeem that loss when he took his first L. This means that Loma take less than half of what he usually gets and give more of his purse to Salido. Loma should concentrate on bigger and better things.

 

Lomachenko should go ahead an knock Salido out, then move on. If he fights Rigo, a cheater proven on video, he should insist on 130 lbs., Rigo is boring as hell and can't demand much money, but Roc Nation will own the judges, referee, boxing commission, so everyone should refuse to fight a Roc Nation fighter because they cheat like hell, watch the video........................both Rigo and SOB...................

 

It will not be the biggest selling card in history. It will be the biggest shameful event in boxing history.
