Just like in poker it's so much harder to win against people who are newbies to the game.

Conor is a complete one trick pony, making guys with terrible hands either fall short and be countered, or lunge in. Floyd NEVER falls short or misses without being in a place where he can't be hit.
Best description Ive heard is every weakness McGregor has, Floyd knows how to exploit, everything Conor is competent at, Mayweather is exceptional, and every weapon Conor has, Mayweather can take away from him immediately.
Its an amazing contest for the hype, and the pressers will be great, but as a contest, Floyd sir would beat Conor, never mind Jnr.

Only 3 possibilities for this fight :

    1. It gets cancelled, never happens.

    2. It's a fake job.

    3. McGregor goes crazy in round 1 with MMA moves and gets DQ'd.

He's really not. Punching off angles isn't fast. Khan, Gary Russell, Lomachenko, Mayweather etc are fast.

    McGregor, average speed.

Connor will collapse from exhaustion in 3 rounds if he doesn't get knocked out before it. Diaz is slow as and landed at will when Connor gassed. You can't run around the boxing ring with hands on hips to avoid engaging in a fist fight. Against someone like Floyd, this fight should not even be sanctioned.

Tbf to mcgreger, we all say things like, id fight tyson for a million quid or id fight AJ for that money.
Well mcgregor is actualy doing it
A guy who has never or hardly boxed is getting the chance to fight an ATG for mega money.
    Hes already won.

Looks good, as good or better than Van Heerden there. Best boxer in UFC for sure.

You'd be surprised what an illegal IV can do. Conor will have every disadvantage, from contract limitations, gloves, ring size, judges, ref, etc etc, on top his lack of experience as a boxer. The tables will be the most lopsided as they've ever been for any fighter in history. I feel sorry for Conor, and wish him the best, 1 out of a million shot to win it.

Dont get me wrong, i'm not suggesting or thinking that McG has any chance of winning.....but if anyone can find a lucky punch it's Conor Mcgregor. Luck of the Irish.

He's obviously just in it for the mega payday. It's 100% win win for McG here, he will rub it in our faces whatever the outcome, if he loses or gets humiliated by Floyd in the ring he'll just post up picture of a suitcase with 100mil D's in.

This "fight" is about nothing but getting paid. McGregor has no chance of winning and there is no shame in that. Olympic medalists take years to guide to the top of the professional ladder, and they're exceptional athletes with years of boxing experience going in. McGregor has no boxing experience. I think it's funny that some people think this has a chance of seeing the middle to later rounds. This is over once Floyd turns up the heat.

I can't blame a promoter for putting on a fight that sells, and I definitely can't blame either fighter for a chance to get paid the kind of money they're about to make. McGregor is probably going to make more money against Mayweather than all of the other UFC champions, past and present, combined to make in their entire careers.

You think they'd have put him in there with a right-hander at least while he's learning the basics
