However many wrongs don't make a right. PPV should be reserved for exceptional cards which the broadcaster could not secure the rights to and make profitable in any other way. Not an unproven up and comer heading the bill against a fighter who has been tooled by every world class super middle he's fought, supported by a titlist defending as a 1/20 shot.

Nah, it's ok as ppv. It's only ten pounds or something. Let's support the event lads. Cheers.

If you take out the equation that Eubank is a world champ (which he clearly ain't) then it's not a bad card

Not bad is a fair description, however, not bad is not PPV worthy.

FW and Lightweight midget fights supporting Chris Eubank Jr winning a British stoppage over a 37 year old shot fighter?

    GFTOH son.

Its a terrible card. FW level is unwatchable for me. Lightweight is just about watchable.

No...yournot necassarily correct there. Ive just got rid of my sky sports subs after years. I soleley had it for boxing. I dont really watch any other sport.
One time a couple yr ago i left and went to now but u couldnt get ppv on now so when sky offered me a deal i went back. SS and all i watched was the usual 2 fight nights a month plus the platform for ppv which i then incured more cost if i watched the ppv but i needed the platform option.
Iv left SS again and just buy the now and ppv through my laptop hooked up to the tv

It wasn't too long ago we had Chris Eubank Jr. and Kid Galahad free on Channel 5.
Neither have done anything much since then.

Golovkin v Murray was on Channel 5 too.
A much more signifcant fight than Eubank Jr. versus a badly faded name Abraham.

The whole night is an average card. If people think this is ppv standards must be terrible at the moment

They might do better not harping on about his ibo world title might not annoy people then.

This has been in the pipeline for years.

Sky did the same thing many years ago, you subscribe to them and think you are getting everything, then find out you haven't got everything, because guess what to have it they want more money out of you...

Just like with ITV PPV, once you "Subscribe" pay for your BBC television licence, you can watch ITV but to watch certain programmes, anything else will cost you extra.

Did the BBC explain this to anybody beforehand when people were duped into buying a bogus license to watch "Everything".

I don't consider the IBO world title to be a legit world title but I reckon its more legit than the WBA Regular title!

Why is there far less moaning about that belt?

FFS Tyrone Zeuge was the Regular champ and when the Super champ belt got vacated he wasn't even next in line to fight for it? What value is the Regular Champ belt?

When the WBA Super Champ fights the regular champ they get the standard 75/25 purse spilt?
What value does the regular champ have? and why do knobs keep yapping on about GGG's title defenses when they were only defending the regular title?

WBC Interim Champ gets a 45/55 split against the WBC Champ and nobody calls the WBC Interim champ a world champ?

GGG vs Murray is more significant because of the belts on the line, but Jr and Abraham both beat Murray so really its the better fight.

    + Undercard is much better
