Then why didnt he throw the towel after he rang the bell but instead they got a 1 minute break and threw the towel in the 7th when Danny continued the onslaught. Had Constantin recovered he wouldnt have thrown the towel and Danny would have gotten robbed I'm sure.

 

He's a bullshitter because if it was true he would of jumped on the ring apron after. But instead he let the fight continue only until he seen his fighter getting beat up!

Exactly, im sure if he actually made a effort to talk to the ref once the bell rang he could have actualy got the fight stopped. By ringing the bell he actually got the ref's attention but he turned around and walked away. He also has the cheek to ask for a rematch and also take a swipe at other German promoters.

Öner is just trying to make himself look good so his future as a boxing promoter isn't compromised. He rang the bell in the 6th to save his boxer, nothing else. I think he realized quickly that he did an unacceptable mistake and tries to save himself, his promotional company and his future in boxing by playing the good guy who threw in the towel and blaming the spanish officials, who themselves obviously did an awfull job, but nothing like the blatant and unsportmanlike cheating Öner did. He should be suspended for a long amount of time, if not for a lifetime from hosting any kind of boxing events.

All that coming from a guy who lives in Germany and used to enjoy Öner's cards quite a bit so far, but his recent success obviously took his sense for reality from him. First he tries to play god by just ringing the bells to save his fighter, then he has the shameless audacy to write an open letter to the boxing fans doing as if he is a victim and expects them to fall for itwhich is just as bad if not worse. And all that while there is undeniable video evidence of what happened.

 

Then he goes on to criticise the ref for using the standing 8 count. He also says he "Saw knockdowns where the fighters obviously slipped". The only fighter I remember slipping is Danny.:huh
