Joshua was never hurt from the knockdown, I think he took a dive because he was staggered a bit

    It was literally the first right hand that ever landed, from one of the greatest punchers in the history of this sport. He was never hurt, I think he just took the risk and went down, not to get hit by another hand, which could result in a unfair stoppage if the ref mistook something.

    He was even smiling the whole time.

    This chin is pure diamond. Don't see anyone winning agaisnt AJ. Not sure what to think about it, I am a big fan, but I don't wanna see one person rule the division again for the next 10 years. Joshua is just too good.

    When you get hit like that your vision gets blurry and your ears ring. If your lucky your legs still work. I think it was his top heavyness that makes him suspeptible to getting knocked down. I dont see him getting knocked out cold easily either, but he needs to strenghten those legs.

    Yeah. AJ looks to be in complete control with his legs splayed up in air.

    ****ing idiot.

    All he would've had to do was take a knee.

    Yesterday Kovalev had the mental edge over Ward.
    Today Joshua took a knee so the fight wouldn't be stopped prematurely.

    I love ESB, cant wait for tomorrow!

    Im a massive AJ fan aswell but I think your reaching here...

    He had emptied the tank and didn't have the energy to ride that punch out.... or he didnt see it coming and it caught him by surprise.

    It clearly wasn't enough to end the fight off that one punch but it was enough to knock him down.

    His stamina is the question mark for me more than his chin...

    His behavior after he got up was that of fighter that had been seriously stunned. The problem is that Kitshcho is too predictably robotic to take advantage of it.

    It's quite clear he was hurt. He struggled to get up, eventually doing so around 7, on unsteady legs. Not only that, but once the right hand landed, he wasn't smiling but instead grimacing in pain. Even once he fell down and tried to mask the pain with a grin, it's clear that he was badly hurt. He did well to come back from that.

    Agree and disagree. Didn't go down on purpose, just fatigued and that punch came on top of it.
