What happens to Top Rank when Bob Arum passes away?

    Its interesting how this is never mentioned. Obviously it is morbid to discuss but the fact remains that Arum is 86 years old! Average life expectancy for a white US male is 76 years old. He's 10 years past the average and he's had a pretty wild ride of a life by promoting big names in boxing. Definitely stressful work despite being a rich man.

    So lets assume that sometime in the next 2 years that Arum goes on to the afterlife. What happens to the top rank stable? Terence Crawford, Lomachenko, Murata, Shakur Stevenson, Joseph Parker, Pacman (retiring soon), Jessie Vargas, Bradley, Michael Conlan, Gvozdyk, Bryant Jennings. Etc. Thats quite the stable of fighters.

    Will TR be taken over by another promoter? Will Arum leave the company to a trusted source. Arum is Arum and he has the contacts. In many ways, Arum IS TR.

    As long as he keeps running these fights for my entertainment between L.A. and Palm Springs I don't care who takes over. Keep that model of building fighters that they have, build a statue for the Bobfather, and keep Oscar the coke sniffing promoter away from your fighters. Top Rank keeps going.
