And that should end the argument really - it won't, but it should. So i'm not even going to read any of the (no doubt) half-baked replies below

 

Context clearly does matter. Weeks was closely monitoring Kovalev because he was in full survival mode, hands down, and had just fallen back into the ring post. That is the context. Weeks is looking to stop the fight because Kovalev is in serious trouble. He sees three consecutive shots, the first causes Kovalev to hunch over. The final one causes him to sink down and double over. Weeks instantly calls it off.

Did he make a mistake? Well, if you have multiple camera angles and slow-motion it appears he did. Because, indeed, the final punch was low.

But to say that the context doesn't matter is absurd. The context is critical in understanding Weeks frame of mind. He is not looking for low-blows or other infractions, he's looking at Kovalev's condition. And so he makes the call when Kovalev falls over.

The reality, as many have pointed out, was that there are many ways this fight could have after the Ward onslaught. The way it did end was unfortunate. But the outcome, one way or another, was going to be a Ward win, and the premature ending really only prevented a more extended beating for Kovalev.

So, SOB fans are claiming that Golota should finally get his title by beating Bowe two times with low blows! I have seen it in slow motion and SOB landed low blows, no doubt about it................

 

Doesn't every real man? I do the same, I also run the penls down and then up the butt crack and tuck it under my belt in the back. Don't judge a man until you've lived a day with his mile long penls... or is it "don't walk a mile with no shoes while holding a man's penls" I'm not sure but what I am sure about is that those shots were low... some of you MoFos are blind!
