Amongst the boxing fraternity, from the pundits to the fighters themselves who have shared the same ring with Android, all agree and accept that Ward is a dirty fighter that does not deserve to be considered p4p. While GGG is spoken of with awe and reverence by all within the boxing world.

This video shows why Ward will not be looked back upon favourably when he goes down in history while GGG will be looked upon as a legend.

Notice how all of GGG's opponents feel privileged after sharing the ring with him. No complaints just pure reverence and respect even though they lost

Not one opponent Ward has been in the ring with has had anything good to say. Instead of feeling honoured they felt cheated and not as if they were in the ring with this great fighter with exceptional skills.

Do not get me wrong, Ward is a great fighter, but it is not through his skills, but rather through his mentality and sheer will to do whatever it takes to win at all and any costs. You have to admire such desperation.

G is a beast! The man is top notch no doubt! Don't know if him staying at 160 his entire career has hurt him any, but his body of work is very impressive. Personally, I would have liked to see him move up a division or 2. I like seeing skilled guys move up and beat the bigger man with his mind and skill set. After it's said and done, Ward will be placed higher than G because he fought and beat a better class of fighter and multi division champ.

This is getting worse than Pac fans after PBF-Pac. Who knew Kovalev and his fans were so mentally weak? Especially after their tough talk.

GGG career has come on late because he had problems with k2 promotions who did not wish to push him. So it makes it more difficult for him to be jumping different weight classes in his mid 30's, meanwhile there are so many opponents that should already be on his record had they not decided to flee away from the prospect of getting in the ring with him.

It's unfair to hold that against him. Meanwhile Ward has been under some of the best management in boxing. Dan Goosen ensured he got the best fights, the majority split, whilst being able to perform in the most convenient venues with the most convenient officials. Even when Ward wasn't fighting he was continuing claimed to be p4p

Now he has Rocnation behind him, with a billionare owner who has a host of connections within boxing and america helping to maintain this idea that Ward is undisputed no1.

You can't beat that kind of hype.

Because his style isn't fan friendly. GGG doesn't have half the resume and gleefully takes punches like a rock em sock em robot which is probably testament to the level of his competition.

Wake me up when Ward decides to fight without a biased set of judges and favorable lenient referee.

Watched Froch v Kessler this eve followed by Smith v Abraham 2.No nutting,no elbows,no nad shots,no stiff arms,no bending at the waist for 10 seconds, all Ward tricks.Just guts and the will to fight, makes for decent viewing actually.

Agreed. Froch vs Groves was another classice with two true warriors willing to put it all on the line within the rules of the sport.

That is what boxing is all about. it isn't about making an art of fouling and mauling your opponent with UFC moves as if you are in a street fight.

Ward should have at least 3 losses on his record through disqualification and that is being kind if we do not take into account the kessler headbutt fest.

The first fight I remember watching was Duran/Leonard when I was like 7 and I knew about Golovkin before he won his first WC's in Thailand as an amateur. It is your boxing knowledge base that is olittlered with holes and stereptypes and cloud your rationale. I deal in reality and the crooked politics of this dirty sport are at the forefront of how it operates.

In ring breakdowns whick I do are fun and serve a valuable function to the health of any board but let's be honest this is a sport about adapting so engagin in pre fight speculation is fine but often goes out the window when the actual fight happens. For instance: one fighters may change his approach or neutralize his opponents strengths or most recently have a crooked ref allow them to foul at will, eventually awarding them a boguy stoppage victory of a volley of fouls thus rendering all the pre fight breakdown moot.

You must have missed the multiple fouls by Froch on Groves, including forearms to the face.
