Was the Kovalev-Ward 2 fight rigged vs Sergey?

Refs don't end fights because they think a guy won't win. That's a ridiculous argument. In Kov's situation, the ref gives him a count or multiple ones, if after the count he does nothing, it's over.

Just like Cotto vs Marg, Cotto looked done, much worse than Kov, the ref gave him a chance when he went down on a knee, he didn't just think "Lol, I'm thinking Cotto won't win anymore time to end it". Or Marquez getting KD'd three times, "Yeah, 3 knock downs, that's 3 points down already, let me end it right now".

Lol, Kov wasn't going to get killed in there. It wasn't anywhere near anything like that.

My point is/was guys get killed in the ring. Kovalev was sitting on the ropes, taking punches, and not throwing back. Just sitting there. The stoppage wasnt ideal but it wasnt bad either. But you will cry and whine to no end anyway so **** IT

I didnt say Kovalev was going to die LOL. Putting words in my mouth. I said weve seen guys die in the ring and each ref will handle things differently. Kovalev was done. He was sitting on the ropes eating punches and not doing ANYTHING about it. He could have been hurt or seriously injured. If it didnt happen that instance he was getting stopped later or seriously embarrassed.

You still cant accept the loss and will never be able to either. You cant fathom that the guy who was supposed to be savagely KO'd twice did the stopping.

I couldn't care less that he lost. I'm not particularly a Kovalev fan nor a Ward fan. You are just caught up in the storyline and soap opera that it frustrates you that now your guy won by KO but there was some questionable stuff going on and people are rightfully calling out and not just praising Ward. Sucks but the asterisk on the win is there, deal with it.

Move on from this Sergey fought well but he's obviously not as versatile as Ward. Kovalev can still make noise and be successful Ward is just better conditioned and more well equipped to deal adversity no shame in accepting defeat.
